Well that could be an argument that God does not have to say to people that he is God. Moreover people believed Jesus was god because he did miracles. They believed what they saw. But the thing that confuses me a lot is that there are various verses in the bibles where he says that he alone can do nothing without the power of the father he also mentioned that he prayed to the father and various other things that I don't remember right now. It clearly emphasis that the father was a stronger and superior being than Jesus. And if Jesus was God how can there be an entity that is superior to Jesus ?

God can place limits on Himself as is verified in the Old Testament. A quick example would be the rainbow after the flood meaning he would never flood the earth like that again. In this case His limit was he had to be both man and God, men experience temptation and can die and all those other things you listed. Yet, in the end He was blameless and that is why He was able to overcome death. He who knew no sin took the punishment we all deserve (since the punishment for sin is death) and by that overcame death.

The verse you are referring to is John 8: 58, Jesus (pbuh) literally was calling the Jews the sons of the devil few verses before - John 8: 44. You should read the verse by also understanding the context.

There are some reasons, but I will make it short. Its because they believe that the name יהוה was revealed to them without any niqquds (a Hebrew symbol required to read a word correctly), this caused יהוה to be unreadable for Jews - Only Christians read HaShem as Yahweh. No one knows what's the true niqquds for HaShem are. The Name (HaShem) for the Jews are very sacred, so writing G-d instead of God is just their way of respect towards God.
