Just reading all these comments it's sad, especially a lot of Muslims with the most ignorant of comments, thinking badly of other Muslims who are praying, and what's worse is criticising certain actions they're doing, not knowing majority if not all of them are from the Sunnah. Praying with your shoes on is from the Sunnah, raising hands before and after the ruku is from the Sunnah, saying ameen out loud from the Sunnah. Praying out in the open is allowed in the shari'ah, the whole earth has been made a place of prayer for the Muslims. Only the imam needs a sutrah in front of him, the rest of the people in congregation don't need a sutrah so people walking in between the rows is fine. If you don't agree with anything I've mentioned then research and there's ahadeeth for all of them. Wallahu alam.

Anyone can lead prayers and anyone can pray at the back. So why you have to make a point that Shamsi is praying behind Hijab… who cares?!? Truly embarrassing by sFDawah
I think because the people are a lot in number. So if they just make rows behind like in Masajid it will block the path which the authorities will not allow. Therefore, it is a special situation.

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Why should you pray at an entrance of a park where people walk in and out and even worse walk in between you, even if you dont need a sutrah, and then also recite outloud, this is not hikmah and also not dawah this only scares a lot of people away. If you have to pray outside you look for a quite spot were you are not bothered by anyone and you also don’t bother anyone. And the best option is to pray in the masjid not outside. This means that since the road is a common passage, those sitting on the road must keep their eyes down. So as not to stare at the faults of Muslims and other non-mahram such as lepers, white spotted or lame lullabies because it will offend them. Do not harass any passenger or passerby. Maybe put some thought to it. Chances are all those people in those rows are more knowledgeable than you. Maybe just maybe they have a reason to pray outside that is above your understanding. Maybe assume the problem is in your lack of understanding and not their actions.
Hey guys Im muslim and all but I cannot help it but to think that this kind of prayer, outside, where people walk and spit and fart, is NOT the right place to preform Salah. Brothers and sisters, one thing is to uphold your debt to God, and another thing is to meet up outside in an organized fashion, not in a mosque, in a public walking street and for what I believe mostly because of status, or interest reasons, preform salah where dogs have stepped and drewled and people have spat and probably also pissed (some saturday). I believe doing these kinds of things, because they are done in spite, not only damages the image of islam, but also is damaging to the very connection between you and God. Remember the story of Muhammad saw that said about that honorable man in the hereafter that had studied Quran, had learned generations qoran and had built schools for Qoran. Prophet says Allah sent him to hell, only and only because his stoic actions was not coming from his heart, but from his desire to be regarded as good or of the pious by his peers. I call this "praying with a tail" meaning you are praying and technically fulfilling your duty, but it is done not with Allah in mind but for somebody else to observe/see you. For some in spite (to make the precieved unbleiever suffer when he sees me praying) , for some others for envy (hope my neighbour sees me and sees how good muslim I am). Either way, its Haram and prayer should be held in a hygienic and appropriate place. Thats also one of our signature features in our religion. Cleanness and hygiene.

Masha Allah what a beautiful sight❣

If you have to pray outside you look for a quite spot were you are not bothered by anyone and you also don’t bother anyone. And the best option is to pray in the masjid not outside.

Keep your eyes down. This means that since the road is a common passage, those sitting on the road must keep their eyes down. So as not to stare at the faults of Muslims and other non-mahram such as lepers, white spotted or lame lullabies because it will offend them.
Do not harass any passenger or passerby. This means not sitting in the way so that the way becomes narrow. Don’t make fun of passersby. Do not despise and blame them. Don’t hurt anyone else.

Disagree dear brother. They from speakers corner and not able to get masjid in time. The asl is to have husn ath-dhan of Muslims dear brother. What if someone did this and did that, stick to evidence and Proofs. Usool al-Fiqh, study it dear brother and don't issue your own fatwa what is haram dear brother.
