The quilt is really beautiful. I was a little confused when I saw the pile of rows. But then you started sewing and it became clear what you were doing. I have to back to watch your flying geese tutorial.
I had every confidence that your fourth corner triangle was already sewn on (because you’re not me 😂)!! Love that background fabric, love the Irish chain-ing design. Your Avery Quilt is a beautiful 🤩 thing. Well done you for finishing all those blocks and assembling them all.
So in love with this and the aqua is perfect! Need to know the color. I already scooted to my local quilt shop and the aqua they carried was just to bright. ❤❤❤
I cringe each time you sew wrinkled and/or un-ironed fabric but you can’t argue with your results! This quilt, as well as your others, are just beautiful. Thanks for great videos.
Such a pretty quilt!! The background fabric color sets it all off beautifully from a typical white cream. I see you were struggling for a name for the color, back in the day we would have called that sea foam green (even though it is more to the aqua blue side). Big and beautiful. Also like the smaller version a lot, easier to handle (lol) and right in season for Valentine’s Day ❤❤
Love the pattern/quilts and what a great idea to keep your WIP in such a lovely bag, wish I could have seen more of it. Does the bag have batting in it? Much nicer than being squashed in a plastic tub. Thanks.
I actually usually keep them in 12" scrapbook bins. But this one was one my floor and I packed it to take to a sewing day so that was why it was in the bag. It is an extra large quilted patchwork bag with small handles. I made it from a patten a few years ago. I don't really love the functionality of it and that's why I didn't share about it.
A lovely quit. I like that the aqua is a solid. I was puzzled why it was on point until I saw the heart is otherwise diagonal. The bue/white blocjs have so many seams. Does this quilt allow to trim down those squares? I must use my walking foot even for piecing but still might not be accurate.
Did you use a fabric line or scraps? At first I thought I was seeing Lori Holt but then maybe scrappy? It’s beautiful! I see this in my future! Thank you
Hi. I recently found your channel. What Bernia machine model do you use? I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for all your videos. I am going to try your new mystery quilt for the first time.
The quilt is beautiful Love the colors You are way above my skill level But I find myself coming back to your videos Because you do a great job teaching I have a couple of questions First one is what brand are the scissors I see you use ? Also, I have watched your videos on the pressure of the presser foot for piecing. So the second question is do you still set the pressure to zero for piecing ? Are what setting do you recommend? I have a Bernina 570 QE Thank you
Thanks for watching! The small, large handled embroidery scissors are from amazon. They look pretty but the sharpness doesn't last very long. By far, my favorite scissors are the ones made by Gingher. I do set my presser foot pressure to 0 when I am piecing on my BERNINA.
I get not ironing the blocks, but how and where do you iron that massive quilt top once its done or do you leave it as is? just curious. It is beautiful BTW
Thanks! I always that information in the description of the video. Also, here is the link to the pattern- jessicadayon.etsy.com/listing/1657980071/avery-quilt-pattern-heart-quilt-chain

Beautiful! I love the aqua background and "non red/pink" hearts. Thanks for sharing.
That must feel so good to get that done! It was very relaxing to watch today.
Thanks!

I love that in the aqua! Funny how hard it is to think of hearts as only pink and red.
This is a beautiful quilt, glad you showed us the finishing. Thank you.
Thanks for all the tips and tricks. This is a beauty!
I love both of them and the chains to separate the blocks makes it look so good.
Magnifique travail de fourmis, résultat tout aussi magnifique. Bravo. Régine🇫🇷🪢👑
Stunning quilt! Love this!
Jessica, I love the quilt too. Can't wait to see it quilted!!
This will be another beauty when done. And I hope to see more patterns with chains! I love them, too, for many reasons.
Thanks!

Beautiful
It is soooo beautiful! I love it! I’ve always wondered how big your ironing board is? It might be helpful to see you press one of these bad boys! XOX
I just have a regular sized ironing board. I work in the little sections that fit on the board at a time.
Looks hard, but I know it's one block at a time. Beautiful
I love your style of piecing. You do what works for you. Throw out the rules if necessary. It frees you up to have fun.

Thanks! No, I don't trim down the blocks.
It's refreshing to learn that you have UFO'S!!! It's so pretty!
Love the aqua background. Did you find the name of the fabric you used?
Did you use a fabric line or scraps? At first I thought I was seeing Lori Holt but then maybe scrappy? It’s beautiful! I see this in my future! Thank you
It was a collection by Lori Holt but I'm not remembering the name of it.
This so beautiful. Is the pattern on your Etsy site. I would love to make it😊❤
Thanks! Yes, you can find it here- jessicadayon.etsy.com/listing/1657980071/avery-quilt-pattern-heart-quilt-chain
