Oh no! I can't believe you're sick again :( I actually enjoy the Eva NYC powder dry shampoo, but I'll admit I don't have a ton of experience to compare it to. I have fine hair as well, but I have a ton of natural curls, it gets frizzy easily, and even though my skin is oily my hair is always a dry and brittle mess. I need to use hair masks more often, but I can never remember them. Oh well. I hope you feel better and stay better soon!
Oooh I didn't know Eva NYC has a powder dry shampoo. I'll have to check that one out! I have the one in an aerosol can and it's almost identical to the Amika Dry Shampoo. Smells amazing, but less heavy duty than some other formulations. I find the best way to remember to use a hair mask is to just keep it in the shower next to your shampoo. Every once in a while I switch it out for my regular conditioner. And thank you for your well wishes. I'm not 100% recovered but I'm getting there!
I have the same hair type as you - fine (but a lot of it) and oily. I’m curious about the charcoal shampoo. I may try it out! I’m a little nervous, though, because my hair is blonde. Do you think it would stain?
You know, that's a good question and a very legitimate concern. Obviously in my hair I don't see it leaving any kind of ashy residue behind. On extremely blond hair I don't know what would happen. I don't think that it would stain, and if it did leave a slight gray cast I would imagine it would wash out with another shampoo in the worst case scenario. Brooklyn Botany also has a great return/refund policy if you decided to try it out and weren't happy with how it worked for you!
The Brooklyn Botany charcoal shampoo looks awesome; I have a super dry scalp and hair so that is something I’ll probably try! Also the DermaE dry shampoo. So awesome it’s not aerosol! I hope you feel better soon!
Does Amika weigh down hair ? Or make the scalp greasy quickly
