- There are a lot of metal dust around in our workshop.
To save us from misery and from metal powder we have
created electromagnetic cleaner a.k.a. ‘Metal Monster’
For the power supply, we have figured out a way to use
Makita tools’ 18v battery from our cordless tools.
Adapter and connector for the terminal had been
3D printed out using opensource files from thingiverse.
Links are attached in below for you to try it out. enamel wire of 0.5mm of thickness has been used to make electromagnet in total weight of 2kilograms. for the rod going through the enamel wire is cut out from 20mm bolts. Rest of the materials are spare parts or unused leftovers in our workshop.

One question, for the on/off switch we used blue led inserted pilot toggle switch which seems to be working at first but now it is doomed…. @@
