- This is something that I was really looking forward to doing, and that is to get a baseline dyno of my Terminator. My current 2003 SVT Cobra has just a Filter, an upper pulley, a X Pipe and a tune. I must say that I was really happy with the results of the car. Gotta love them Terminators! I have pretty much the same mods as you with the exception of a ported throttle body and single blade Accufab TB and a 2.76 pulley. Dyno'd at 480 RWHP.

Stock non ported on 91 octane.
Never want to put ice on the case of the supercharger. That changes the growth of the rotors and the case to be different and could case the rotors to scrape on the inside of the case.
Yes, I was aware of that. The was blower was fairly cold when I put the ice bag on top of it, the Dyno was about a 10 mim drive, and I took it real easy driving it on the way to the Dyno 👍🏻
Very risky and dangerous chance to take. The blower needs to be cooled uniformly. Any imbalance can cause uneven friction and fatal damage to the blower and possibly your engine!

Awesome numbers!!! That was a great run. One advantage I had today when mine was done is that I'm in the north east and the temps here this time of year are pretty low. It was barley in the 60's today with no humidity.
Yup that’s a great advantage, idk how humid it was but it’s always pretty humid here. The ice definitely helped out, bringing some of those temps down. Pretty happy with those numbers to be honest, and the TQ numbers were really good

Danny Johnson’s Garage Yes it was, humidity here in South FL is always extremely high, and the temps were 90+, the car was dynoed at 1 PM which doesn’t really help lol .. but the ice helped out a bit I’m sure lol
🥰Looking into doing this soon on mine, I'll probably just take it to a tuner when it's all done, rather than do an email tune. Appreciate all of the content you have made over the years and more to come.

Great video. I enjoyed it. As a small word of caution, you will probably not have any issues with it, but its been said that icing the blower can cause the case to contract, but the hot rotors inside and bearings dont get as cold as the case as fast and could cause damage, especially if the rotors that are a little larger from being hot, contact the shrinking (contracting) case. Did you see what AFR the car is running at with its current tune?
I was gonna say this. Case cools faster than internals of supercharger so therefore the expand/contract rated ate different and can cause the rotors to contact the housing.
Basically same thing you said..just reaffirming it.
The Blower was fairly cold when I put the ice bag on top of it, the AFR was 11.5 and throughout the curve it even dipped to the 10’s so it’s fairly safe, fuel wise 🙏🏻 trust me I was concerned lol

Port the blower yourself and the tb mine made 487 ported it myself was easy .

My guess is 378 horse power. I was wrong. I was only thinking about wheel horsepower. Still I was a good bit off. I remember you had said in the past that this was a 500hp car. What a difference that pulley made. I can't wait to see the numbers once you get it tuned. Keep us up to date man!
The car put down 457 to the wheels, if you do an 18 percent drivetrain loss, the motor actually makes over 550 HP, not too bad if you ask me

Add a 4lb lower and more fuel on e85 it be close to 550

Foxbodystangman It has an X pipe, Magnaflow cat back, and I believe that it has a 2.9 upper pulley ( 12 psi )
