Mental diet is: 1. Self observation. Being aware of your inner conversations, dialogue, thoughts etc. 2. Learning to redirect the mind to cultivate desired states. Mental diet is not a technique, or constantly flipping negative thoughts. Do not fear your mind or negative thoughts. How to do it? 1. Realize where you are starting from. In your daily life become more aware of your inner thoughts, conversations etc. 2. Don't try to jump from one extreme to the other. Instead take steps to recondition these old limiting beliefs and consciousness. I'm worthless > try to condition yourself to ok. Think of things you would agree with that show you are a decent person, ie you have a big heart, you care for others, you're good at X. Small bites. Forgive yourself for the pain you caused yourself. Begin to build yourself up. 3. Do not suppress any negative emotion that come up. Don't wallow in them, just let them out. 4. Be still and know you are God. Throughout the day take 5-10 minutes to just sit in silence and observe. Check in with yourself what you are thinking, feeling etc. 5. Remind yourself every moment is a choice. Bring yourself back to the desired state, but don't force. 6. Cut out garbage input you are consuming, ie social media, negative news, clickbait etc. 7. Work on your self concept. 8. Gratitude. 9. Don't give up.

Wow! I wish I would've seen this video 3-4 months ago when I discovered manifestation. I hit mental burnout a couple weeks ago and lost it. I broke down and bawled like a baby. I also gave up on affirmations until seeing this video today. I am definitely going to go back to working on my self concept but I definitely be doing it differently! Thank you Missy! ❤

So I’m a little confused. You say we shouldn’t argue with the subconscious but nevel says to completely ignore it when it’s negative (basically). Isnt that the same as arguing with it? For example: When i catch my negative thoughts red handed, i imagine myself as a school bus driver and my subconscious as a noisy child. I make that noisy child go to the back of the bus and sit quietly. Would you consider that proper technique and/diet?
I think that's why affirmations can seem pointless - they should be phrased more like a *suggestion* or a *polite* *request* to the subconscious, rather than like an order or command. Edit: I recently uncovered a limiting belief that encompasses ALL of my other naff beliefs, so I'm quite happy to have discovered that. Now to destroy it 😈
@@Nah-pt8om Well, I've been guilty of self sabotage, and have finally after many weeks of serious searching have discovered this belief: "I'm not good enough or worthy enough to succeed - so I don't deserve to see myself as capable of maintaining or sustaining it; I shouldn't try because I won't be able to cope " (I AFFIRM THE OPPOSITE!!) I'm working on this, but I'm so happy that I found it. I've been looking for it for over 2 years!!

Also, is it ok to visualize every day till it comes to fruition if it feels peaceful and loving ?
yes it's ok to visualize every day, the most important thing is to live in the wish fulfilled. And calm and peace is the sabbath feeling that is exactly how it should feel.
example : if im having thoughts that say "how am i gonna get the money to pay for this" thats being said in the consciousness of lack, correct? instead of entertaining that thought and dipping into the consciousness of lack which manifests emotions of worry, fear, and more scarcity, i can redirect my mind to something I already have? or remind myself of something I feel grateful for having? will that help?
And then.... this all goes to this again: "I HAVE to be aware of my thoughts 24/7 and flip EVERY single negative thought." that's literally what this video says ANYWAY, despite Missy said in the beginning that it's not.

Another term I hear on the Law is Inner Conversations. Is it in conversations I have in my mind with my self, others or both? :)
