Thank you for sharing. for people who just starting wedding photography, how would you suggest to build a great portfolio? to have "great photo" ready for the website?
Thanks Qida! The single easiest and fastest way to build your portfolio is to assist other photographers or 2nd shoot for free, in exchange for being able to use the images you take. Another option if you have some experience already is to organize styled shoots with other vendors, OR setup a "fake elopement" with a couple. Most often you can get couples to do the shoot in exchange for free pictures. These are the top methods I'd suggest looking into for sure.
I don't use social media and I feel that's hurting my 'business', but I really don't like social media and what it does to me. Luckily I'm 16, at the age of many friends (from school or other ways) and if I take photos of them, they post on their social media and it gets people to me. I don't take much money, I only started taking money recently because I was told that my work is worth more than free and I don't appreciate myself enough. I had 2 clients ready, but then this corona thing started. I don't know what the point of this comment was lol, just wanted to share.
