The late Lewis Collins. I recall enjoying 'The Professionals' as a teenager. Probably Lewis' best known role. He and Martin Shaw played well off each other. And Brian Clemens devised some quite complex plots, and (when the budget permitted it) fast paced action. Also recall seeing Lewis playing an SAS Captain in 'The Final Option' and as Michael Caine's understudy in a Jack the Ripper miniseries (which I personally found disappointing as it failed to cover many of the potential suspects and other key players).
Hello I've been advised that Lewis Collins was my uncle and I've no way to verify; unfortunately as my dad passed away a while ago, if anyones a die hard fan who may know more please respond
Thanks for posting. Lovely to see the wonderful Lewis Collins.
The legend that is Lewis Collins.
Lewis Collins should have been the 70s James Bond. Roger Moore was a disaster!
I remember this being on tv during my lunch hour at school I only lived across the road
I loved this series as a child!
So did I. I recently got one of the series on DVD. I didn't remember how grim some of the cases were, or the stuff they covered. At lunchtime!!!

Martin Shaw says that he and Collins HATED each other! They still had amazing on-screen chemistry, though, as you say. 😁
Thanks for showing. He was cute , indeed!
Thanks for this , I have been looking for it a long time .
