Hey man thanks so much for sharing your rendering workflow from substance to unreal! I cant wait to try this on my future projects. Also you can turn off the cast shadow on your mesh ✌😁
Hey! Im using the student version of substance painter and whenever I export for unreal... I still get the 5 texture maps rather than this occlusion metallic roughness one and all mine look like flat colour and my metal material is coming out where the dark bits are like really noisy... do you have any idea why this is? Thankyou for your tutorial and I hope my comment makes sense! :) omg I've just looked through the rest of your channel and saved like a million videos for later, your content is awesome, thankyou!!!!! These are going to help me get through uni haha
Hello, Im not sure what could be causing the noise issue :/ but to get the Combined Metal/roughness/ and occlusion map, Make sure in your Export Window you change the config to "Unreal Engine 4 (Packed) "
This is legit one of the best unreal tutorials in UA-cam. Very well-explained.
Thanks! Im glad you found it useful!
You know a Tutorial is going to be quality when it's taught by Bill Gates. On a serious note, great job, man, thanks a lot!
Oh my god. I totally thought that too xD
Great tutorial! You helped me fix an issue I was stuck on!

In Substance Painter Compute tangent space per fragment needs to be enabled in Project configuration for Unreal Engine and disabled for Unity.
