I love all the designs and subtle animations!
Theseus
Fatal flaw - impulsiveness/recklessness.
Real talk the animation is on point this episode, all the new more detailed designs look amazing.
8:49 yeah, he fell-off hard
The updated designs are absolutely amazing ❤😊
I wonder if Hippolytus is in this. 😅
All of the updated looks are amazing they’re so beautiful
Does anybody really believe that Theseus "forgot" to chance the sails?
About sail - it was said somewhere that white sail was torn apart in the storm, so he was forced to use what he had.
Normal day in Greek mythology
To be honest I only knew Theseus from the story of the Minotaur and didn’t know about all the crazy stuff that happened afterwards, thanks Jake. Also I love how Hercules and Theseus were arguing about the timeline before you stopped them.
Hippolytus is honestly just like me. Except that he's not.
I love this channel so much, please keep making this until I’m old enough to patron cause I feel bad loving it so much and not even paying money
Average Greek mythology king
Theseus is below average
@@sonofcronos7831 Yeesh! What does that make Agamemnon, Sisyphus, Tantalus, and Ixion?
@@videogollumer while Theseus was easily trapped in the Underworld, Sisiphus avoided death twice.
The others you cited had a death that makes more sense, while Theseus was quicked out of his own city and them died by being thrown of a cliff.
@@sonofcronos7831 Oh! So you're saying he's below average his death was less glorious?! LAME!
@@videogollumer glory in death is like gold for ancient greeks.
But in truth, Theseus also exposed his city to war because of Helen. He is no different from Paris.
havent watched jake in a while, idk if this is the first time with the new hades but omg he looks so good, i love this art style so much
Something something ship of Theseus something something joke (Im too tired to think of a joke right now)
I'm actually familiar with a different version of the story of Thesues and Antiope. That Antiope was actually her sister Hypollyta, and her death came when the Amazons came to rescue her and she was killed by her sister

Like many of you guys, I also often dream of Dionysus angrily pointing 10mm Glock to my face...
As soon as I try to ask him why he chose a Glock of all things, as it doesn't seem very godlike to me (not big on guns myself, but it's what I had in my place when living in the US), or even why 10mm and not the usual 9mm at this point; he pukes a bit of wine and point blank shoot and somehow misses me each time...
I guess the moral here is: don't try to dream murder people, especially with something you need to aim in a direction, when you're absolutely both still plastered from the previous night AND have the worst hangover imaginable.
Not judging though, if I could party for thousands of years with my cult bros and cool nymphs, I'd be first in line.
Not a fan of having kids with random women though (IMAGINE his child support back pay).
And, you know, being plastered doesn't mean consent doesn't exist anymore Dionysus.
Come on bro, you know I'm right so think about this the next time you point a cheap gun at my head and manage to miss.
Also, you might get canceled from Olympus like Zeus.
Tartarus isn't fun, and even you won't want to bang with what's there
Although, I do wonder what expression getting it on with an hecatonchire would be... a 50some?. They do have 50 bodies right? Since they have 100 arms.,.. No?
Does that mean that they also have 50 buttholes? And what about the, erm... "Other" parts ^_^??? Is it 50/50 or...?
So many questions.
Ah, Greek philosophy; is there anything more enlightening?
