  • The final installment in my ' How to Turbo your Cinquecento and Seicento ' series.
I'll be changing things with the videos this year, but wanted to get one final video out to cover off some last bits that, I at least, feel could be really useful.
    Clutch and flywheel options/upgrades
Oil cooling and oil filter relocation
    Coolant pipe mods
    Turbo manifold and Turbo.
    Hope you find it useful.
Heres the link to my online store
    wornout-racing...
and the link to the uprated clutch (larkspeed performance) on eBay

Hello. I'm thinking about turbocharging my Cinquecento sporting's 1.1 8v engine, as a project, not looking for extreme horsepower numbers (somewhere between 100-110 horsepower). Found your video series very helpful by the way. Could a turbo from a 1.3 multijet do the job? What other turbos (either after market or from other cars) you recommend?

Hi..thanks for the nice words..really glad you're finding it useful.. I actually really liked the k03 turbo I ran on mine..really easy to find ..not too big.. the ct9 turbo from a starlet turbo is also really good. The multi jet turbo may need to just be checked to make sure it doesn't have any of the manifold as part of the turbo..I know on newer engines it can be..I just don't have much experience with the multi jet...but generally as long as its a reasonable match for the size engine and you can find the right flange to mount to the exhaust then you should be fine.

I have stumbled across your videos looking for info on potentially turboing my 1998 Punto, what a great little channel you have, would love to pick your brains if you're able, but also we have a little community of car youtubers if you'd be interested in joining, looking forward to more content as well as a reply, Andy

Brake Advice: If you want an uprated 2 pot kit, HiSpec Motorsport do have their Ultralite 2 kit available for these if you ring them up. Just don't expect them to arrive particularly quick. Their parts are brilliant quality but their customer service could be better.
Think I priced it up at around £750. Not a budget upgrade admittedly but would be significantly better than any stock setup.
Edit: Forgot to say it'll give you way more pad options as well!

Thanks Paul..as you say the hiSpec stuff is great bit ALOT of money for a project like this..I try my best to spec things to a suitable level but keeping the budget down enough to make it fun and generally affordable..with a 14' wheel a punto gt, or alfa caliper is a good upgrade..even a panda caliper and disc is a slightly bigger upgrade..so yes, some top end brakes would be awesome 🙂 but this very much a "budget" build

Thanks for the kind words Byron..I'm glad you like the channel 😊😊 if you mean the Luisi wheel, I bought it directly from them on their Ebay shop..they do deeper dish ones and different materials as well. Great choice using a cinq for your autosolo car..they're great for that kind of thing..I'm told the trick is run them really low (which goes against the usual rule a little)

Hello im your subscriber i have a fiat cincuecento 899cc and i have a problem with my fuel it reads empty and when i turn left my car just power off what do you think the problem is thank you great video👍😁

    • @wornoutracing
      @wornoutracing  2 роки тому +1

Hmmmm.. thats a strange problem. The fuel reading comes from your 'fuel sender' in your tank but shouldn't make your car power off even if its not working. It seems theres an issue in your fuel tank, with the pump and sender. Might even be electrical (wiring) . I'd remove the cover under the rear seat and see if the electrical connectors are all OK . Then you may need to remove the while fuel pump from the tank and check everything
