    Just bought an incubator and searched YT for candling eggs. Of course your videos are the first result that pops up for me! Thank you for some awesome examples of what to look for. 👍 You've got some great gems in your older content.

    I probably should have purchased a professional candler, but instead I made mine from a broken lamp, corn starch container, aluminum foil, a foam rubber bunion pad, and Gorilla tape. It has a 750 lumen 8 watt LED bulb in it. That was the part that cost me a whopping $5.🤣 Either way, it lights the eggs up like nothing I've ever seen, and it doesn't get hot like an incandescent.

    Question..
    I have a improvised incubator at home my eggs are 5 day olds
    I’ve had them on a steady temperature of 47-48 degrees Celsius
    I had an emergency and had to leave not realising it was going to be a 40 + degree Celsius day
    And the thermostat read 41 c
    I was gone for 2 and a half hours
    Have I possibly killed them????

    Where you mark is the body, and is that the way to lay them during lockdown of will they turn by themselves to pip out? I'm on day 18. Please help.

    I could swear I saw movement in the egg you removed sweetheart watching the end of your video. Could U play it back a few times to see if I'm not losing it? I've made the mistake thinking one wasn't fertile & I was totally wrong😢

  • @Live4theblacknote
    @Live4theblacknote 7 років тому

    What can happen with the egg that wasn't fertile? Since it was warmed in the incubator, can you still eat it? Or does it need to be thrown away?

    Patara, I'm wondering! what do you do with an egg that you candled if you get one that doesn't have a baby in it?

  • @nubee1973

    On the egg you pull aside that didn't look fertile, can you put it back in for a few days just to be sure (just in case)?
