I've seen a lot of Diva tutorials and you clearly know a lot about it compared to the others, killer content. Speaking of Uhbie filters, that SEM notch filter is gorgeous when it's used like this: ua-cam.com/video/Bi8uAi7FRIA/v-deo.html

thanks man!! I really appreciate that. I live and breath synths!
the uhbie filter has really grown on me the more I've used it. I'd say it's my 2nd favorite filter in diva. the ms20 stole my heart haha

You bet! This series stands alongside the paid DIVA course I have by Sami Rabia (excellent teacher / sound designer)
I'm actually gonna be checking out the MS20 modules more after watching your videos, I've been spending too much time in Roland land lol.

@@jonaudio By chance would you happen to know the solution to my current problem, I'm trying to nail the pitch bend sound on the intro to Billy Idol - Eyes Without a Face: ua-cam.com/video/aZxErk7G2XA/v-deo.html
So the trick is that pitch wheel should only affect one oscillator, but no matter what I do I can still hear the other oscillator being somewhat affected and not like the demo (or original) I've been watching?
I have the pitch wheel assigned as one of the modulation sources for Oscillator 1, I can send a screen shot / recording later today if you are interested.

so I just tried that out and this is what should work in your case if you want the pitchwheel to change the pitch of only 1 oscillator. For this example im in the Triple VCO and have OSC 1 and 2 going to the output and to just have the pitch modulate osc 2, set the tune mod to PitchWheel and engage the 2nd (middle) switch and that should do it. and depending on how many semitones you want to bend, adjust the tune mod knob for that

@@jonaudio Thanks for the prompt response! I think I tried that last night and was getting the same behavior but I'll go take another look when I get home. It was late so user error is very possible lol.
