I don’t understand the difference between the harmonic mask and the EQ section. Seems like the EQ section would be equivalent to the first 6 harmonics of the mask. Maybe it is equivalent, just meant to be static where the mask can be modulated?

How do you route the oscillators only to your daw audio channel ?

Thanks a lot, very helpful tutorials here! i have a question tho. In third party preset Desert Wind from Basari pack i have a microtuning saying E-50 B-50 in the plugin corresponding window. I understand what it is doing, but i have no idea how can i make this type of microtuning on my own. Because i don't have a .tun file with this name, i see only default ones. I know i can do my own .tun file by tuning E and B quarter semitone lower in each octave, but maybe there is another, easier way? thanks in advance, and keep on educating&inspiring !

Thank you so very much for this series (I went through all of them)! I am a professional guitarist and audio engineer but, not being a keyboardist, I found synths to be a total mystery, intimidating, and daunting. I purchased Pigments, the V Collection, and the Keylab 49 mk3 (already had an Essential mk2 and Analog Lab) not only to have these tools for clients but to learn a bit about them for clients' productions as well as my own. I am no expert and never will be, but I am already feeling MUCH more comfortable and feel as though I now have a solid foundation on which to build upon. I love the short, 10-minute-ish per video format. It's easier to learn at my own pace as I try to watch at least one video every morning as opposed to some 1-3 hour long giant tutorial. This is much easier to digest as well as much easier to go back and watch a particular topic that I need to refresh on or get a better understanding of. Thanks again!

Thanks for pointing out the ext sources ! Starting using a Touche controller after I discovered how to add some midi slew, then a tip from Polarity to modulate the filter env rather than cutoff, and now the Holy Trinity is complete . One thing Avenger beats Falcon on is midi mappings are persistent and across all instances. Falcon parameter mapping are persistent but not midi when changing patches. Wishing Avenger could midi map preset directories though - something very useful Falcon lets me do. Arp in poly mode also useful by cycling arp power to utilize strum mode.

I'm playing in a band, and I'm trying to do something on my own. These 2 things are totally different for me. First, our band was heard by a lot of people already (we had chance to play on some festivals, and people usually really like our music, even if we are still not very known band), but whatever I did by my own (not much , mostly electronic related music), had really limited audience. What is funny, my parents pushed me to finish music school and I have graduated, but then I had very long break (over 10 years), come back to music and now with the band I mentioned, we are almost done with our second album. When I visited my mother and family on Christmas, nobody even asked me, how my band is going. Nobody cares. And when Im trying to tell something about the band to my mother, she is saying something like there are other aspect of live that I should focus now. Maybe she is proud somehow, but we are not her music target, I dont know. At least I know, whenever we are playing, got some audience and its means something for me.

I dont know if its your presentation, or Avenger itself ( or both :P), but Im starting have more and more fun with sound desing in that synth. I wasnt fan on spending my time on sound desing before, but watching how you are doing in Avenger, everything is looks so easy to understand. Now I like just spend my time on playing around with Avenger sounds, that trying to do any music itself :) Can you show in Avenger maybe some tricks with spectral or granular samples? Sometimes I've got the feeling, that in some expansions that I bought, for example Atmospherica, nothing fancy or new I can create based on presets, or loops thats come up with that expansion.
