Thanks for this. Tete is a complex module offering a lot of choices in a small footprint. Many functions not too obvious at a glance, but logically laid out when you get into it.
I have an idea for a new feature in a firmware update . I would be super cool in combo mode if touch clock was assignable to a pad and not global. Thanks Intellijel. This module is amazing. You guys are the kings of sequencing. Really looking forward to getting my hands on a Metroplex. And a Planar.
Way too small display for my eyes, but looks like a very useful multitalent for Eurorack (young) performers! Very impressed by what Intellijel is creating.
You might find it easier to see and read in person. It's quite different when you're seeing it demonstrated versus when you're right up in front of it.
Is it possible in voltage mode to manually set the voltage for a single output for all 16 preset banks while the clock is looping through the banks? I am comparing it to the Malekko Voltage block. The Voltage block has 16 banks and while looping through the banks you can set the value at each bank position by just moving the fader while it is running. Is there a way to do something similar with the Tete/Tetrapad?
No this is not possible. The single output for a bank can only be dialled in one at a time, but once you set it you can copy and paste it to other banks.
@@ScottMFR Thanks for the reply. Seems like this would be a simple feature to add. I imagine it as going into an edit mode for an output and then using a fader to set the cv value at each bank when the bank is active while looping. Setting each cv value by hand is tedious. The copy and random options help but it would be nice to have real time control over the banks. I suppose you could do something similar in combo mode with faders but it is not quite the same. I hope they add that ability. That is the only reason I am debating on getting a voltage block but Tete/Tetrapad can do so much more.
I really really hope and pray that you release an all in one complete Intellijel modular system like other vendors do like Make Noise, Doepfer and Erica Synths have for those who are new to modular gear. I can imagine how fun it would be to learn on an Intellijel only system.
@@ScottMFR I built one! Lots of Intellijel, Erica Synths and Mutable Instruments modules and really having fun. I finally updated the firmware on Tete/Tetrapad to latest version as it was complaining that Tetrapad was in need of firmware update to v3.0 before Tete would function properly.
@@GuitarsAndSynths Nice! Glad to hear it!! Yes it was necessary to update Tetrapad to enable the communication with Tete. Pre-3.0 it was a standalone module.
I was thinking about writing something like that everytime I rewatch. "What kind of noise is this dude producing, when he's making 'music' on his own :D" For me that makes it harder to understand, what all these functions can mean in a more musical frame, totally on your side. Still a very helpful video though, basically took the manual as script and went through it. I gotta say, good job Intellijel, even though I try to keep my case as brand-undominated as possble there is a lot of canadian robot in it. And also, the euclidian one around 1:47:00 is a banger :p
@@osten6159 I did too, arrived last week. I was sort of shocked to realise that the "custom chord mode", available if you use only tetrapad, is in no way represented, if you combine the two. Or am I missing something? The combo mode seems very capable. But not quite the same amount of modes as using tetrapad only. Wierd.

Wow! So much stuff! Can't wait to see the other videos on the modes you have planned!
Can you use it as 4 channel sequencer for notes for melodies - each row a own melody sequence?
Thanks for this. Really helpful!
can you put a patch tip guide? I just got my new Tete and Tetrapad and having a hard time figuring out how to patch it!

@@ScottMFR true it is not bad in person and the OLED display is very crisp and clear for my eyes and I am not a spring chicken anymore.

If so, an all black edition!!
If you e-mail support@intellijel.com they would be happy to make recommendations on how to lay out an all Intellijel system to fit what you want.

It would be great if the new guy doing videos for Intellijel did some videos on Tete/Tetrapad.
Because of the new Firmwares and no offense but this video seems rushed and could be presented in a clearer way.
27:07 its a great little sequence! Way to make some nonchalant good toonz haha
How are you getting along with the SSL mixer in the video? I’ve been thinking of picking one up
I love Can
haha, like how you use a paint brush to remove dust. My weapon of choice is a clean makeup brush my wife bought me ;)
I need this yesterday!!!!!! 🤘🏻🤖🤘🏻
Somebody had the brains to name it tête ;-)
Any synths for beginner like me from you guys? Thanks
If you want modular synth, maybe semimodular would be good choice. My first was pittsburgh modular's SV-1, and it's still in my eurorack.
Yes the Atlantis is a great starting point.
Amen to Atlantis! Paired with Metropolis it’s an absolute beast!
I started with Atlantis and Metropolis ...and they are still center of my rack ...
Behringer Crave
man I need to get atlantis
Awesome tutorial but I wish that you would record when you don't clear your throat and nose constantly throughout the video.
Looks great, but why not demo it in a way that is enjoyable to the ears?

Nope, nope. I'm just a blind idiot, not able to watch the screen carefully for longer than 5 minutes.

If I get 1 dollar for every "aaah" in this video, I could buy a bitcoin...
Maybe don't eat poutine just before you do a walkthrough, just sayin :P
