Dang. Feel like I should be wearing latex and cyberwear, fighting vampires in a smoky underground rave full of lasers and blacklight-tattooed kids doing mountains of designer party drugs. Such good sound.
I love how you actually use your massive modular setup to produce all kinds of music, not just spaced out ambient or noise which seem to be the more common choices.
@@RedMeansRecording don't get me wrong, I love spaced out noise ambient. I'd probably do that as well if I had a modular rig. For now, generative music on the m8 is enough to wrap my head around. Keep up the good work, Jeremy!
My feed has a lot of modular techno in it. The algorithm has a tendency to enforce tunnel vision even when the viewer wants to see the wider world. I wonder if ppl at Google/YT/Meta have tried including diversity/entropy in breadth of recommendations as an explanatory factor...
Thank you Jeremy, once again you bring the tastiest filth to the table. Many a stank face was pulled listening to this absolute shreddage, love you heaps 🤙
I have to be honest. After those first few beats I zoned out on the explanations, and then just skipped to the jam sections. And played then a few times. This is really bloody good.
Just tried it out. You can use a Voltage Block and Veils to adjust the sweet spots as you did with the Navigators. But heavily inspiring! Keep your awesome work up!
The Manis Iteritas is my favorite oscillator I've owned, I sold it because I wanted to shake things up, but I definitely would get another one in a heartbeat if I had the funds.
This made me want to play my modular so badly. Power module's mucked though and I need to repair that first :( thanks for sharing this AWESOME patch! 10/10 want more.
You didn't use a single traditional sequencer did you? This is, without a doubt, the single best performance I've seen in such a setup. I've been trying to work with that sort of thing for a while now - You've given me something to study and aspire to with this.
Ayy I'm using the Maestro + Noise Engineering oscillator combo too. It's just instantly groovy as hell. I'm using the BIA though, yet to try the Manis even though it sounds incredible on this.
Pumpers like to Pump, Pump It! I wonder what you think the strengths of MIA are compared to Pizza? I have a BIA on the way, but need a lead voice. You've tried a lot of stereo filters over the months too, and you've settled on two I've weighing up, Zagrzeb and Ikarie. It's for mainly for shaping the e352 cloud terrarium wavetables, and I reckon the Zagrzeb could be smooth. But then I like the drive, and especially the VCAs on Ikarie.
Not the the external attenuation isn't superior but do you have use the onboard attenuation for the Maestro? It's easy to access and more useful than I would have thought.
@@RedMeansRecording no problem, I appreciate it. I’ve already watched the video so many times just to hear it. It’s a great demonstration of the gear but more importantly, so fun to listen to. Your channel is massively inspiring and I’ve learned so much from you. Wishing you all the happiness and success 🤍
Hi! First time viewer. I would love to see an extended video of the "jam" section... ideally like an hour+. This is the noise that makes my brain work good, and I get tired of hearing the same songs in the "coding/hacking/etc" mixes. I don't know how fun or terrible that would be for you to record. But those "coding music" videos are super popular. Many of us working from home would be stoked to have a fresh supply of music we DEFINITELY have not heard before, and maybe more continuous than a playlist of short songs. What do you think? Is this already a thing? I'll be hitting up your SoundCloud for work tomorrow 😎

MORTAL KOMBAT

wait till i release my spaced out ambient noise album at the end of the month :D

Completely bonkers. I love it! 👾🎶

I enjoy monotrail and Melawati for some solid beats
I would absolutely jam out to a short EP of a couple tracks like this. Such a cool vibe.
Yeah, man, you should release some tracks with this vibe
@@michaelandersen7535 agreed I'd be boppin
This is the destination I have been seeking. Thank you.
Its so satisfying seeing someone dance to their own music. Thanks bro. Great work. 👍
Thank you Jeremy, once again you bring the tastiest filth to the table. Many a stank face was pulled listening to this absolute shreddage, love you heaps 🤙
Now we need a whole set. Bring it, Jeremy!
Das finde ich auch! Tu es!
I have to be honest. After those first few beats I zoned out on the explanations, and then just skipped to the jam sections. And played then a few times. This is really bloody good.
that ending beat is hands down one of my favorite YT synth jams, easy top 5, what a banger.
I’m not musical in any sense but i tune in every once in a while to you and hlysht this one blew me away. Such a mood.
That’s a huge sound from a relatively compact system. Great job, sounds great!
Just tried it out. You can use a Voltage Block and Veils to adjust the sweet spots as you did with the Navigators. But heavily inspiring! Keep your awesome work up!
Love it! I did a double take thinking that I was hearing a new Justice song. You know how to work the grime.
Incredible. Actually making modular sound musical, I freakin’ luuuurv it 😉🤟
The Manis Iteritas is my favorite oscillator I've owned, I sold it because I wanted to shake things up, but I definitely would get another one in a heartbeat if I had the funds.
Holy shit, I knew the Manis sounded great, but haven't achieved anything like this yet. Am inspired!

Soon
I like listening to you talk and make music. You inspire me ❤
Super inspiring!! Exactly how i enjoy using the chaos lately against something acid-y, live this!
GODDAMN YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO GO THAT HARD. Or maybe you did, I don't know. Fucking sick patch/track.
You sir, have soiled the UA-cams. Disgustingly good.
I've kept telling myself that I don't need a Maestro since I have a Pam's for all my synched LFO needs, but then videos like this come along...
Absolutely different animals!
This is just so marvelously intense. I'm a true believer in the filth 🙏
And such is the power of modular. Convert!
this jam gotta be my fav, would buy official release
I know Jeremy is good because he makes me like genres I'm not usually into.
some really hot jams goin on here, love it jeremy
8:41 👹💃🏻🙌
It goes so hard i love it so much
this is awesome i love modular, the amount of stuff you can create is really infinite
My ears are loving it! Beautiful
Clearly, you lifted the melody from the “On Golden Pond” sound track.
Speaking as a Mr Krabs - definitely feeling it.
My morning needed great tidings of filth, thank you!
I love my Manis!!!!! Been eyeing Ghost as well 👀
This is the most amazing jam!
That was dirty. It's disgusting how good you are
Nasty man :) I would really love to see a video on your approach to drums and sequencing on modular. Seems like you figured out a great system!
Damn, Jeremy.
I fucking want an EP of this, lol
Nice, can we have more jam? I was just getting into that :3
Thanks, I needed a good pump.
Radical as always dude!!! So sick
Thank you.
Disgustingly beautiful!

Crazy ass jam! Not really the kind of techno I enjoy, but you are funky :)
This is so good it should be illegal.
Goddamn that filth! Manis iteritas sales going through the roof from here on out.
I CAN FEEEEEEEL IT
Ayy I'm using the Maestro + Noise Engineering oscillator combo too. It's just instantly groovy as hell. I'm using the BIA though, yet to try the Manis even though it sounds incredible on this.
Drum samples are CHOICE. 10:00-12:00 Reminds me of some early 2000s Dj Dan jam meets some nasty acid grit.
Black octopus bass house volume 2
6:33 needs to be a sample of its own
Awesome work sir 👍
That was a great jam!
This was fantastic. [Insert Padme Meme] "You're going to Knobcon next year right?" "Right?"
Maybe!
I believe!

think I made the stank face the entirety of this video, downright filthy sounds, so good
That is some cleeeeean filth!
Looking more and more like a 1930's telephone exchange ! LoL
Sounds like a 1990's German range party though 👍😆
Hell yeah
sounds lush :)
I don't feel like I deserve this level of filth 😫♥️♥️
very nice
GHOST 🤤
Hot damn! Sounds great!
Oh hell yeah.
Came for the filth, stayed for the ghost 👻
Disco ain't dead!
HNG This is some disgustingly filthy grit, choom, perfect for Cyberpunkin' and netrunnin'. Thanks for the TRASH. Preem.
This is just fun!

I haven't. I should.
Incredibly beastie
Ooh, that shit's grimey. Love it.
That was some lovely filth 👍🏻
Ace!!!11!^
What are you using for drums?
Fire!🔥
Is this going to be a track I can buy??
Fun times!
Muy bueno!!!
now that is fuckin dope my man
I BELIEVVVVVVEEEE
I humbly request some more filth please. 🙏
Love
holy shit jeremy blake
I can wallow in that! 👍
Sounds like a harsher justice
nice
Sounds great, do you know what scale it is?
I don't modular but that sounded great.
amazing fat sound from that oscillator
Wow, that was unexpected....
I’m definitely not giving my MI enough love.
Killer 🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥
got my morning grits! yum!
Jeremy, is the audio of this jam available for download/purchase available anywhere? Soooo good.
I'll need to double check it's on Patreon tomorrow. If it isn't I'll make sure it's there or on bandcamp backstage

I've gotten a couple requests for that and I think that it would be really cool to do a full set of this vibe.
What I realised just now, is how freakishly much modular synths can blur the line between music making and music _production,_ if yaknowmsayn.
I doooo
It sounds great but is there a google translate for the video?
had to watch it twice... there was chair dancing... hopefully the filth didn't get onto my powerpoint slides...
