    56:12 the manual shows the spring free length measurement between the inner sides of those bends, you measured the outer sides which probably added those 3.15mm. Even if the free length is OK, changing the spring is cheap insurance. Great work, thanks for the video. (I dread doing this job again!)

    I have a 1997 with 370K miles and have only replaced the timing belt 3 times. I have gone 120K miles between every timing belt change. It's a non-interference engine, so if the belt breaks while driving, the only extra money you have to spend is for the tow. The vast majority of my miles were highway miles. Not much city driving.

    This is a fantastic walkthrough! Thanks for putting it together. I've never done a timing belt before, but looking to do it on a 4S-FE and it should be pretty similar to what you've shown in this video. Much appreciated!!!
