Most of my recurve cant comes from my crappy bow grip. I struggle with. On my compound its easier to see. Might need to get that Beiter gauge for my recurve.
I am right handed and have a slight cant to the left. This has been an issue for quite some time. My bow shoulder is strong and have good posture (don't arch my back). I've tried different grips, worked on bow hand position seemingly endlessly. I'd never been told that the string hand could play a role. Guess I know what to add to my training plan.
Great video. As an aside, you did a video on keeping a training diary and how important it is to write your shot cycle down each time. Could you possibly do a video or explain what this involves? How much detail are you looking for. Otherwise it seems to me that most Olympic recurve archers are going to have the same cycle (eg. set, setup, draw, anchor…) and it’s not going to change?

Over drawing could cause it cant to the left; under drawing would cause it to cant to the right due it's effect on the posture.
When i cant my bow i shoot better than straight, how do i get my consistency on a straight bow to be the same each time?
Thanks for the lesson! Now I know how to fix my canting ❤
Long live bro
