@@TheBoredPirate Maybe I'm missing something.... there was green everywhere. Why was that desirable? I would think a purple or red one would be great, but not green or transparent.
Back in the 1970s I used to visit the one in Fort Bragg just north of Mendocino California, It was the sight of an old dump years before regulations. I used to enjoy finding bits ofold dishes with just a little colored glaze still visible(Like Fiesta), I now live more than 5000 miles away, but when I look on Google Maps it is named.
Thank you for taking me on this adventure. It is amazing to see the amount of Beach Glass there. Will definitely need to visit St Kitts

In Canada on the shores of Lake Huron,you can't find as much any more and cobalt blue is the rarest.
Growing up in Florida, blue was always the rarest, too.
Red is the rarest I’ve found tons of blue

This would be heaven for me! I love sea glass but it’s so hard to find where I live on the NC coast.
Unbeliveable how much seaglass it is on this beach. Wish we had something simular, no glass at all on the beaches in my country, not where I live now either.

Very nice, but in Ireland, there's a 3 mile stretch of beach where it's nothing but actual real man made glass, all dumped from the small city of Derry. It was an amazing sight and walk. Glass as far as the eye can see...some sharp, most of it rounded, smoothed and blunt - of all shades.

There is a Great Sea Glass Beach in San Fransisco Bay, Last I heard you are not permitted to remove the Beach glass any longer even though it's said that it was refuse glass dumped there by the city over many years.

Laura it used to be normal for people to collect their old bottles and dump them on the beach to make beach glass beaches and to get rid of glass build up without leaving sharp glass in nature

This is just a fraction of what Glass Beach in Fort Bragg used to look like.... Sadly now it is all but gone.

Just dish soap and warm water usually if they have an odor

There's two beaches like that in California..one it's against the law to pick and the other you are allowed to pick.
I know where the first one is, but where is the legal one? I'm in SoCal and the pickins' are slim around me

@@chillingsworth4384If you go to glass beach, you won’t find hardly anything because thousands of people went there for years ahead of you and took away buckets of glass before they made it into a state park and made it illegal to remove.

Sea glass… well I never… how interesting… ok so… I’ve seen it all now hahahaha… now then I’d say walking barefoot on this glassy beach would be an experience like no other…. now would you end up with shredded feets ?? you betcha’ maybe… probably… prapps… hahahah. who knows… I don’t… but wowzers that sea glass be so darn beautiful all the same !

It’s pretty similar to Bonaire for sure - Went here last time as well, but more glass in the winter
