Beautiful Marina, you bring joy to my hart with your jewelry skills and positive vibes. I wish you all the best and may you find joy and happines during your adventures. ❤
Thank you!! I’m super excited to find your other channel as I am exploring the possibility of silver/ resin jeweler making course and there’s so many out there to choose from 😱
Beautiful pieces!! I love your ideas!! I’m going to try to attempt some of these myself. I have so much beach glass I’ve been looking for ideas on what to do with it. Lol so thank you so much.
Thank you! You have explained this in a manner where it's so much easier . I was using a dremmel only drilling it on one side. Anyways, beautiful pieces and explained so perfectly. ❤
Beautiful! How do you clean the sea glass? I have a lot of pieces at home and I washed them with some soap and water. when they're wet, you see the colour but if they're dry they have a white layer on top. How do you get rid of that?
Very lovely pieces, you have a lovely way to talk through and show others. And give them the opportunity to learn& make. Thank you I have one question…… how do you make your sea glass so smooth and shiny. Thank you. Julian 🌙
Temperature can aslo have an effect, sometimes this happens to me too. You can try sanding a bit the surface of the glass to make it a bit rougher so that the glue sticks better. Make sure there is no oil, you can clean the area with a bit of alcohol
Hi Marina, lovely video! Do you have another link to the drill bits? When I click on the link in the description I get some other product. Thanks so much!❤
Hmmm...you make it look simple, but I'm sure there have been many cracked ones! I wonder what else sea glass can be used for...must be other cool things to make, other than just jewelry
Hi Marina!! Your video is so interesting!! I tried to do it once but i didn't use water to make the hole and it was a big fail 😅😅 One question, Is the wire wrapped the most resistant of all them?? Thanks for the video❤
Ahhh i get it I did the same last month whilst trying to cut some holes in ceramic tiles 😂 that's an interesting question, i actually think that the pinch bail and side groove are the most durable. The wire wrapping after some time can move around slightly
Hi Makena, I see your sea glass pieces, but they look quite smooth. Do you do something special to make them so smooth? I also find sea glass, but mine are all very rough and have whitish-grey pigments on their surface. Thanks for your response. 🙏
That might just be salt residue! try and clean them with a tooth brush and liquid soap. After that you can add the tiniest drop of baby oil to a rag and gently rub them.
@@makenamakes6897 they are absolutely not. They are genuine, well shaped, skilled and honest. Like when you weave your baskets and create beautiful things. Thank you so much for sharing.
Very good Marina creating such beautiful jewels that may last several lifetimes. Well done.
Thank you, I now might give my sea glass collection a go!
You make beautiful jewellery, I used to love making jewellery when I was younger.

Nice to see that you spell `jewellery' correctly. I enjoyed the video and wish you well.
Very enjoyable to watch.
If you add some silicone lubricant to your water and a squirt of dish soap it helps prevent breakage
Oh! I'll try next time thank you!!
I LOVE SEAGLASS

Hi Gwen, that might be salt! You can try brushing them with an old toothbrush and baking soda
Nice work
so beautiful.
Hello, what drill bit do you use on your drill?
From Guadeloupe i love it!!!
Hi I use diamond drill bits such as those shorturl.at/9wL99
Very lovely pieces, you have a lovely way to talk through and show others. And give them the opportunity to learn& make. Thank you
I have one question…… how do you make your sea glass so smooth and shiny. Thank you. Julian 🌙
Hi Julian, you can apply a very small amount of oil to the seaglass to make it shiny
What type and brand of drill bit do you use
Hi Susan, those are unbranded drill bits you find.on amazon.(1mm to 1.5mm diamond drill bits)
I followed the glue on bail instructions to the letter with the correct glue etc. unfortunately the stone snapped off with minimal effort

Posso chiederti come fai a rendere lucidi i sea glass prima di lavorarli?
Grazie mille
Ciao Maria teresa, puoi aggiungere una goccia di olio ad uno scottex e strofinarli. Attenzione a non mettere troppo olio!

Beautiful 😊
Is that Seaglass, beach glass, or from Amazon ? I never seem to find any when I'm beach combing.
Thatàs seaham seaglass i collect in the UK. seaglass hunting is an art, you have to know where to go! You can check out local fb groups for tips :)
Love it!❤ What is your Etsy shop name?
The link is in the description box 🤗
What is the “park” tool you are using to drill with?
it's a cheap LIDL parkside drill. Most people use Dremels, I recently switched to a Foredom style of drill from Vevor!

What is the name of your Etsy shop?
Makena Jewellery
Where to buy this drill?
Look for dremel style drill or multitool drill.
Breathtakingly beautiful.
Your poor thumb and finger.
It does not detract though..
We have the same rotary drill.
My hands are in real bad shape, I was a bit ashamed of showing them on camera 😂
