I was talking to a few people in the Twisted server and they corrected me that the map is going to be SEPARATE from 1.22, which is something I cannot find officially anywhere but some notable people such as Fusion mentioned they did say this, the current estimation for 1.22 is going to be August or September and will likely just have the vehicles, so sorry about this I'm going to figure out a way to implement a correction into the video!
Yeah, I was thinking that. I mean, it will take a few months maybe a full year to make the new map so just adding some new vehicles and maybe changing some weather settings would make a bit more sense for all the leaks were getting.

Tornado watches are gonna be so good! I’ve bought the NWS gamepass not too long ago and I have a firm grasp on thermodynamics in the game and meteorology so I could be very good at placing the watches
It would be disappointing that the Titus won’t get added but the tornado wranglers truck might get added, but Titus is very weak so it would be pointless and would suck having a intercept vehicle that can only withstand 100mph winds just like the tornado wranglers truck.
Eh, I think the Wranglers truck is pretty powerful, it could intercept EF0’s 1’s 2’s 3’s 4’s but bearly an EF5 as it was shown at the end of the movie. It stuck to the ground for quite a bit. But once it got intense it flew. So the wind speeds of an EF5 is between 166-200 mph. So my estimated guess is the Wrangler would be able to survive up to 170 windspeeds (deployed) and 25 undeployed. Well, as long as it gets added.

I really wanna see dow 2 or dow 7 done next. Im usually only in the DOWs anyway, but the raxpol dow is pretty interesting too. Especially considering its a rapid scan Dow.

I actually bought the dom1 2009 variant when it was accidentally released in patch 5. Cost me 100k and had the same stats as a normal dom1, the strobe on top didn't work unfortunately..
i'm more of a 1.19 og fan imo the fact that you could drive through a tornado once it reaches 300 mph lmao and the nights used to be brighter, i miss them now you can even barely see the road in front of you

Two new intercept vehicles the urban assault tornado vehicle and cody howard armadilo intercept vehicles are coming to the game i didn't realize there were other actual intercept vehicles that exist which i guessing the uatv is inspiration of tiv 2 since it got actual tiv 2 spikes which wonder if they ever got any intercept

Who told you that UTAV got scrapped? Nah bruv: I just checked again and as far as I can tell, she's still under the current ownership of Marshal Phipps from Storm Seeker Storm Chasing (same guy who owns the Stormpiercer, ex-Dorothy actually). Kinda scared me for a minute there lol. As for my thoughts, two things. The first: if the Suba-TIV and Tornado Wrangler actually get added to the game WITH a working deployment system, and yet Titus still doesn't, then the devs are a team of hypocrites, because both those vehicles are WAY worse for getting up close to or inside a tornado than Titus is. I was reading a Variety article where Sean Waugh - a storm chaser and consultant on the Twisters set; you may have heard of him but I hadn't before lol - suggested that TW could probably do no more than 120-130 mph at best before it gets blown away, and this is not even taking debris into the equation. Sean's Suba-TIV? From what I've seen, he didn't drive that thing anywhere near a tornado period, so I guess the spikes are only for if he accidentally gets too close or just caught in strong non-tornadic winds. Titus could maybe handle 150-155 mph winds irl before going airborne, and it at least also has armor. But you're telling me you're gonna leave it out of the game yet add two garage-built death traps instead? What a joke. The second: if an SPC-style function is added to the new map showing where storms are most favorable to form, that would be awesome, because otherwise that map looks like it'll be a dog to navigate.
I'm not sure, I think it's because the old map has been around in so many different forms since I can remember they likely want to start from scratch (plus it would be built with performance in mind unlike the old map)
Well ngl making the map 4x bigger isn’t gonna help with performance at all. It’s will probably look like a twisted lite map and way bigger but it still has the gameplay like the map rn

For the 25x25 map I feel like they should add a navigation system by default or by a game pass to make it easier to navigate the network of roads
