I have flown in this plane a lot and like it the best for a mid size plane. I love the fact the cabin is very large and has a lot more room then the Citation X I spent a lot of time in. Also plenty of room for luggage.

I love this plane, the challenger 300 is the first private jet I've ever flown on. Super quiet and very comfortable.

I would like to know, where is the service table for seats next to emergency window?
    Or there isn't?

    • @warmfreeze
      @warmfreeze 2 роки тому

the plug in table is in the baggage, after you walk thru the lav look to your left, there is a little door.. open it and pull out table.. unfold it and plug it into the 2 square receptacles under the emer door.

"Sitting tall and proud on its landing gear." Hahaha. Nice dig at the G280.

Being in the oil business does have its perks. ( Obviously ).
    Enough of my arrogance. lol
Listen, all you jet setters. There are private/ corporate jets and then there are PRIVATE/ CORPORATE JETS!
This big beautiful lovely jet is, in my opinion, the very best in corporate aviation. Our company had the Lear 35 for years, but we upgraded to the Challenger 300 because of its overall performance, appeal, safety and of course.......the WOW factor. I fly allot. I piloted F-4' s before taking a corporate position for a leading oil company in Texas. I can attest to this aircrafts flight performance. She flies like a fighter jet, but handles like a commercial jetliner in both comfort and speed. Flying at 41,000 feet does feel smooth. Her performance in and around airports is excellent. Flying through weather is child's play with this aircraft. It has more power then it requires and fuel mileage is exceptional considering that power and payload capacity. Generally, our company flies all over the continent and pretty much the world. What I really love about our particular jets, yes we have four of these now, is how comfortable they are inside. Head room, unless you're over 6' 5", is very generous. My business associate is 6' 3" and he never complains about head room or leg room. After all, it's a business jet with beautiful seating in soft leather and spacious room between.
We have our own flight staff. To include pilots, flight attendants and service/ maintenance is provided by our airports maintenance facility. The Challenger 300 is just about as perfect a corporate aircraft as one can purchase/ lease. We own three, but we're leasing the 4th jet. We plan on leasing a Challenger 350 once our current lease is up. Honestly folks, these Challenger 300's are extremely well made aircraft. Aerodynamically speaking, they fly very smoothly and as I stated above, they handle various weather situations with ease. The cockpit is, of course, all glass, with only a few standard type gauges as backup. I've travelled up front several times. Smooth, quiet and honestly, just a joy to fly. The cabin is also quiet. Now every jet in the corporate world can be appointed to what ever degree the client/ customer wishes. Ours are each equiped with a fairly basic cabin setup. Coloring is of course, up to the client/ customer. Ours are light tan leather with matching carpet. With wood grain finished control panels etc. Gold buttons etc. Cabinets up front are of the same wood grain type finish. Very shiny and kept in immaculate condition.
I've flown on just about every Lear there is. My favorite ( though our company didn't aquire them ) is the Lear 45. It very nearly resembles the Challenger 300, but for overall size. The Challenger 300 is the very best I've ever flown on. Our company invested a great deal in our aircraft. In the oil business, everyone in the executive side has a jet. Its part transportation. Part tool and it's also a calling card when travelling as we entertain many upon many company business types world wide. Because the Challenger 300 is larger, it offers more convenient ways of entertaining our clients/ guest/ passengers etc.
I cannot say enough about this jet. It practically sells itself. Every time we travel and land, our flight crew is almost always met with eager people wanting to see our jets up close. Of course, not everyone, for security reasons, can do this, but we try and accommodate as many as we can, if time permits. If you're looking to invest in a business jet that is not too large or too small and can fly pretty much anywhere in the world, I suggest you check this jet out. Before we purchased our very first business jet years ago, we utilized various services. Similar to NetJets . That gave us an idea of the type of business jets we might invest in. The Lear 35 served our company very well, but demands made upon our company etc, created a situation where we looked for a jet that was capable of greater capacity and comfort. Once we settled on the Challenger 300, all of us agreed, it was not only the right choice, but a great choice. Not everyone, of course, will share in my synopsis of this aircraft. For everyone has varying taste and of course, money is the root of how far a company is willing to go in terms of investing in such type aircraft.
I personally know a man who owns his own small oil company here in Texas. He owns a Piper Cherokee and he couldn't be happier. I've flown with him many times and he with us. For him, it isn't so much about money, he has plenty enough, but he enjoys flying himself and his execs all over the country. Of course, when they travel abroad, they fly commercial or do a 1/4 share deal. Which is great, but there are drawbacks to that 1/4 share.
Anyway, thought I'd lend my 2 cents to this fantastic business jet. Do yourselves a favor, check this bird out. It won't disappoint you.
P.S. Yes I am really JR Ewing and yes I am in oil and yes, I get kidded around all the time, but love the novelty of sharing my real name with that of Larry Hagman's character in the tv show Dallas.

Curious about your program involvement. I was VP Marketing and responsible for defining the Challenger 300, with just one person working with me, starting in November 1995. I have no idea who this presenter is...The Challenger 300 was successful because we got out of our own way and left defining the design to the 800 aircraft owners who completed the market research we developed, totaling three separate rounds of detailed questions. It’s proof that listening to the customer never fails. It’s unfortunate that this person is trying to take credit for a process he was not involved with.

Good Morning! I'm sorry you feel that way, we are certainly not trying to take credit for this process, just reviewing the overall aircraft. Thank you for your hard work on this aircraft. Have a great day!

@@jetAVIVA As you stated; he's simply presenting the plane with it's features and benefits. He's not taking credit for the design process. It appears the gentleman that commented, is a sensitive Sally.

Probably no one. An aircraft with say 8 seats in double club configuration, rarely seats more than 4. If all seats on an aircraft this size are used, it becomes very ‘intimate’.
