Lot of people don’t like In Camelot but it’s a good episode because Tony finds out his father wasn’t the hero Tony thought he was. Always kept him on a high pedestal but he saw that it wasn’t all his mother that caused a bad relation between her and Johnny. The ending was one of the best endings to a sopranos episode. Tony trying to keep his father on that high pedestal with the guys believing his own bs. The look at the end great acting by Jimmy.
I’m generally unaware of what “the fans” think on this show. I watched it during original run and was not on Reddit or fan pages if they existed back then. Now I’m learning things through comments on reaction channels. And it is disappointing, not all, probably not a majority, but too much of the energy is negative. Of course that is just those you chose to comment, more fans don’t, and even more don’t watch reactions. Anyway a big one is Carm hate, another is issues with dream sequences and episodes that dare to be a bit different and away from main plot lines
The chase scene between Tony and Phil has "Rock the Casbah" playing in the background. The song was written in relation to Iran's ban on Western music--Tony's nickname for Phil is the Shah of Iran, given the resemblance,
First of all, this channel is criminally underrated!!!! Second,I don't comment often (got to pause my big screen, and use another device just to text) but it is needed for this great reaction. This deserves 10 thumbs up per viewer just for the BB & Soprano's link to the VERY CRINGE Happy Birthday scenes! They are my 2 hardest scenes to watch in television history, and I've been a TV show junkie for almost 50 years, no BS!
😂Junior as a professional funeral goer is gold. The great Polly Bergan was perfect as Fran Felstein. Bergan is in the 1962 Cape Fear with Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum.
Another great reaction guys! I"m finding that as good as the movie reactions are, I'm finding myself partial to the reactions to "series" as it allows us to become engaged in the storyline and character development together. Sopranos, just another reason to love Friday!! Oh, and by the way, that purple really suits you Jen! You guys are the best, keep it up!!!
@@Flix2Us My pleasure. I liken it to tipping in a restaurant. You guys provide us with so much entertainment and it must take quite a bit of work to put these videos out. We all look forward to your video drops and I just want you guys to know we appreciate it.
Carmela's mother is a bit of a snooty elitist. She wants to be percieved as "better" than other people, the "lesser" people. It's nice though that Carmela herself isn't particularly impressed by all that. A credit to her for being way more level-headed than her own mother. Btw, here's another dude who's traumatized by older women singing the Marilyn Monroe interpretation of "Happy Birthday"... lol
I know people love these TV series because Many are Brilliant. But I am a-Movie nut and here are a few , you and your subscribers will love The Pelican Brief SPYGAME Unstoppable DEJA VU (2009) Atomic Blonde COWBOY AND ALIENS ( you will be astonished, you haven’t known more about them)
Have you noticed the writers keep invoking the Kennedy name somehow someway whenever they get the chance?? There has to be a symbolic meaning behind it.
Oops!! Nick is traumatized by the old lady singing “Happy Birthday Mr. President “!!🎂🎼
We all were the first time seeing it 😩

I knew about the context behind the song but I never once made the connection to Tony calling Phil the shah
Actually, the TV show in the flashback from the 70s was 'Cannon"
Yes, right! 😊
16:48=It isn't 1987's "Jake and the Fatman", as this flashback is from the 1970's. The show would be "Cannon."

Fran was played by Polly Bergen, who was a regular guest star on TV shows in the 60s and 70s.
She was pretty big in movies for a while too, most notably in "Cape Fear" with Gregory Peck & Robert Mitchum.

I hope to never see or hear another woman do a Marilyn Monroe impression 😅
I LOVE the Marco Polo episode! Has season 1 vibes!
Saw an article earlier this week which stated that Dick Wolf is a billionaire, so he might be able to afford two battleships.
Made a mint pitting leo on a pedestal
You guys must watch the movie The Talented Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett. Twists turns jaw dropping thriller.
Marco Polo has been one of my favorite episodes of television ever.

Ultimate "Happy Birthday Mr. President" cringe PTSD 😅
I'm first!!!!! That never happens! Love the channel!

TGIF
Phil would have been too big a fish for a nobody like Tony B to take down. But Joey Peeps was closer to his own level.
The Happy Birthday "performance" is generally considered to be one of the show's worst moments.
😂😂😂
It wouldn't have been as creepy if it wasn't an elderly woman who wasn't sexy anymore (sorry but true)! Even in her youth she was no Marilyn Monroe!
What! It was hilarious and uncomfortable
