Hi, I just purchased both the Pro mat and the mini mat today, and I'm looking forward to using them. I noticed on this zebra striped video that the stripes were being cut right on the mat with the circular cutter. The mat I'm currently using for fondant, the blue silicone mat, cannot be cut on because it cuts the mat, so I was surprised to see the cutter being used on the Mini MAT. Does the MAT material allow cutting directly on the mat?

THE MAT is made with soybean oil and other food safe components that are listed as food safe in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) as pertaining to materials and substances that are determined to be food safe as detailed in Title 21 Sections 174 - 182 of the CFR.
Thanks for posting i have a question how long does it take to oder one of these cakes because i try ordeing one yestherday for my birthday and said i had to call 2 days before the event bec. It was hard to do is that rigth???
Hi what it the big mat called I have looked on other videos but the mats are clear and this one has measurement marks and the other is just the the smaller one just larger ..,, I would like to get the one with the measurements what is it called?
It depends on what you are cutting with and how firm you are pressing. The two wheeled cutter isn't razor sharp and I am using light pressure in this instance. Metal "cookie" or fondant cutters can have a sharp edge, too, so just use enough pressure to cut through the fondant or gumpaste but not firm enough to cut through THE MAT.

Please don't cut on THE MAT with a sharp or metal edge. A plastic wheel cutter is ok if you don't use too much pressure.
