My mother went to a crusade one night and became born again, the next night my father went along with the intention of causing trouble but God spoke to him through Billy and he was born again that night. My parents went on to become missionaries in Borneo. God used this man greatly. My dad and Billy are both in glory now together.

I subscribe to Billy Graham’s messages & ooooh boy, I have been a Christian for 20 years but his messages a convicting me of my sins & I’m repenting of them & will continue to repent because God won’t hear the prayers of a Christian who wont confess their sins and repent. Interesting that, in 1959, the Australian clergyman spoke of parents having ambitions for their sons in terms of profession and career, and for their daughters only 'social ambitions . . . marrying well'. How times have changed.

Just wondered whether anyone more technically minded than me would know how, in 1959, they managed the live relay from Australia to America? I believe this was before the age, by a few years anyway, of satellite communication?
As one who has been in broadcasting, satellite transmission was not heard of in 1959. I believe they did it with landline phone cables which transmitted both audio and video. That's how Jerry Falwell first recorded his "Old-Time Gospel Hour" TV programs. They had no video taping capabilities at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Sunday services were transmitted via cables to a recording facility in Michigan. I know this because I took a tour of the church facilities back in them days and that was what tour guide told us.
If only today's Methodist Church could hear that old Methodist preacher, they would not have made that church an income generating business like they have done today.

I was blinded by a BB gun being shot in the eyes that destroyed my vision . This girl was in a hallway where I was . She had a brain tumor . I seen GOD take her and just before that he repaired my eyes so I can see . That next day I walked out of that hospital on my own power and sight . You see I know there is a GOD . I have seen him .
