I remember watching Billy Graham crusades when I was just a toddler at my grandparents house, when Mama used to take me there on Sunday evenings. I was so young, but remember the feeling even today at 66, I had listening and watching him preach. I loved it. I remember when folks always gathered together up front to give their lives to Christ at the end, and the organist always played "Just As I Am" and it brought tears to my eyes. I was so young of course I never understood why I felt like that. Reverend Graham was a living gift our God gave to the world. He helped so many souls get to know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He led so many to Christ. What a wonderful, wonderful legacy. I still love listening to all his old sermons. He was a humble and devoted disciple of Christ.
I love Just as I am and I still very when I watch one of Billy Graham crusade. I have been saved for 23 years now. I first got saved watching one of Billy Graham crusade as a young woman. I am Minister now and I never get tired of watching Billy Graham crusade. I know what you mean Debbie.
That's great and everything. But. Its the common grace of God. For all people. For example, a sweet little old Muslim lady could have a beautiful testimony in Islam from her perspective. And that's another example of God's common grace. Or a person in Hinduism. My point is, if you want to go deeper in the grace of God, then learn about the universality of it. I have gone to a particular church for nearly 40 years. Although they believe in Jesus Christ; I realized the last several years going to church feels empty, the meetings are missing the preaching of Jesus Christ. My grandmother listened to Billy Graham when I was a young girl, I never listened until his death, feeling sorrow that it was too late, I missed my chance while he was alive. I have to say, truly I feel the Spirit of God through his messages, even truths we might not feel too good to hear, yet it is truth. I believe that those that have the Holy Ghost with them are able to tell good from evil, and truth from lies. As he said, we are all sinners, and included himself, but he preached repentance, turning ourselves around & getting back on track. I feel in this short time of listening, my heart has softened and I feel far more peace. I truly believe he fulfilled his purpose, to bring millions to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts as their Lord, Master, & Savior! How many of us could do what he did his entire life? I actually feel love for a simple man I never knew, and that has passed this life into the next for such great Love to devote his life to help save so many.

Reverend Graham would preach very loudly and enthusiastically in his younger days. As a young boy, I was scared of him. That seems so funny to me now because I love this man and his preaching! I do enjoy his preaching more as he aged and mellowed. I also his jokes. Thank God for this dear man.

I have gone to a particular church for nearly 40 years. Although they believe in Jesus Christ; I realized the last several years going to church feels empty, the meetings are missing the preaching of Jesus Christ. My grandmother listened to Billy Graham when I was a young girl, I never listened until his death, feeling sorrow that it was too late, I missed my chance while he was alive. I have to say, truly I feel the Spirit of God through his messages, even truths we might not feel too good to hear, yet it is truth. I believe that those that have the Holy Ghost with them are able to tell good from evil, and truth from lies. As he said, we are all sinners, and included himself, but he preached repentance, turning ourselves around & getting back on track. I feel in this short time of listening, my heart has softened and I feel far more peace. I truly believe he fulfilled his purpose, to bring millions to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts as their Lord, Master, & Savior! How many of us could do what he did his entire life? I actually feel love for a simple man I never knew, and that has passed this life into the next for such great Love to devote his life to help save so many.

Reverend Graham would preach very loudly and enthusiastically in his younger days. As a young boy, I was scared of him. That seems so funny to me now because I love this man and his preaching! I do enjoy his preaching more as he aged and mellowed. I also his jokes. Thank God for this dear man.
