@@CPAPmyway I have had to turn off the heated tube, and set the humidifier to 5, and still getting a little dry mouth. Is there something wrong with the machine? It is new. When I do the preheat it heats up too warm.
You’re right super simple. Ive placed both humidifier and heated tuning on auto so it will do what it needs to do on its on now hopefully I won’t get water in my nose at night
How do you prevent condensation in the tubing? I have adjusted the humidity from auto to 2 as advised. There is still condensation along with that bubbling noise in the middle of the night.

I would think that you should keep the heated tube on in this case, but I am not sure. Are you using a nasal Mask? Link below may help as well. cpapmyway.com/blog/dry-mouth-on-cpap-fix
@@CPAPmyway I’m using nasal pillows. Another tech thought I had the humidifier too high, and suggested to turn it down. I live in a dry climate. I tried what he said, it is better. But still would like more moisture. I started wearing a chin strap also to keep from breathing through my mouth if that is happening. I will check the link, thanks.
This is probably the most common question we get and it is an easy fix 9/10 times. Check out the link below and it will help you get the mask connected. Video and detailed blog. cpapmyway.com/blog/new-cpap-mask-wont-connect-tube
You certainly can. If the humidifier is off, then the water will not be heated and less water will evaporate into the air that you are breathing. Causing it to be drier. So that is up to you and you comfort.
Does SO Clean connect to the Luna G3? Or do you have to buy a special filter? I switched out machines and don't know if my So Clean Oxygen activated is now useless for my new Luna G3
I have been fighting with this thing, getting rainout constantly. I had no idea the heating and humidification had an auto setting. You're the man!
Glad to help. Good luck!

Do you HAVE to have the heated tubing for humidifier to work properly ? 8:52pm 9/24/24
Heated tubing is not a "necessity". This page explains it really well.

My auto humidity setting on the Luna 3 has stopped working. The humidity level has not changed in my bedroom however the auto setting stopped working.
I am sorry to hear that. May want to try using it in a manual mode and contact your provider.
Why doesn’t my tube to connect it to the mask have the other small gray cable?

The gray cable is for the heating for the tube. A mask does not have a electrical connection.

On non heated tubing- would you ever turn the humidifier to off?

I need oxygen in my hose, I did not see anything about oxygen in the tube.
We have an awesome blog and video on adding oxygen to your CPAP. Link below for you.
