Officially a 30 year fan of the Dolphins this year, been loving your breakdowns. Love this team but ultimately just love football and there really hasn't been a time for this team like this since Danny was throwing to the Marks Brothers. So its fun to see people get to appreciate this moment for this team and these players, win or lose, its truly not often you get to see this level of talent on the field at one time. Even if youre not a Dolphins fan, they are fun football to watch right now. @@BigR365 yea the rest of the season McDaniel had to make changes to the scheme to accommodate the O-line deficiencies. We had a change or two but you can expect the current line to be ready.

Check for the video McDaniel predicts Waddle touchdown. McDaniel is miked up on the sideline for the Jets game. He's on the sideline just before that long TD pass to Waddle saying "Im having a hard time not envisioning a one play drive here. " "if we get the coverage, Waddle is going to have a one play drive." He looks out at the field and starts laughing just before the snap while saying, "yup, here it comes!"

What's rarely talked about is that pass to Waddle against Dallas, the play before was a dropped pass from Tyreek. Both could've been TD passes in a situation where it was a must to at least get the 1st down. It's 3rd and 8 and Tua drops a dime deep to Waddle inside his own endzone. If they don't complete that with a Punter who frequently kicks 20-30 yards that's great field position for Dallas and we likely loose that game.
it’s crazy. As a dolphins fan, even though waddle had over 1000 yards last season I still felt like he was unutilized. Waddle would be WR1 for most NFL teams

That game week 3 should be a good one. Early in the season when the Dolphins will probably be healthy and have most of their starters,are when they’re the most dangerous.
And it’s gonna be interesting to see how Jonnu Smith, OBJ, and a couple of their rookies play. Jaylen Wright especially at RB might surprise a lot of people this year. Kid runs a 4.3 and he runs hard. Perfect guy to sub in for Mostert and Achane.
You missed something with Waddles last jump before you looked up his vert. He slipped and had to jump or it would’ve been intercepted. It was some crazy athleticism

People always say "tua cant throw deep" yeah sure he cant throw 75 yards but he has the best looking 50-55 yard bombs. Such beautiful placement and spin on that ball
The thing Waddle needs to get better at is knowing when NOT to jump for a catch. He dropped quite a few balls that he didn't have to jump for, but because he was up in the air and somewhat off balance, he wasn't able to bring them in. If he cleans that up, he's definitely one of the 10 best WRs in the NFL.
And that's one heck of an offensive line in that game got to give them their roses
I’m a dolphins fan love your videos you do on them, people say tua doesn’t have a deep ball because they listen to espn all day and just run with it and don’t actually watch the games or understand football. People only said that because in his first 2 years he didn’t throw deep because he had no receivers besides waddle and the playbook wasn’t opened up enough for him to do so that’s where that came from and I’m sure a lot of nfl QBs can throw deep that’s kind of in the job description but are they asked to do so is the difference plus he was the best deep passer qb in college at his time but again love the videos

Chan Gailey even said he never made a playbook for Tua, he was set fully for a right handed Fitz. When Tua got in he just flipped him simple dumpoffs and let him have that, the following year he had dual offensive coordinators arguing and causing confusion. I still say those first two years don't count, they were rehab years.

Miamis speedstars are allstars no doubt , thats why you gotta jam them up at the line and make tua go through his progressions , plus he aint honna get the ball out in 2 seconds that way

NFL pros say the thing they fear about waddle is his burst. You watch him off the line. If he gets his release, hes gone. The acceleration is too great. That's also why he makes those WR screen plays work so consistently. If it was anyone with a little less burst, they get tackled from behind.

Waddle is my fav dolphins players and has been since we drafted him. My only complain ever about ihm is his jumping bro, sometime she jumps when there is no need to and drops the ball or is short of the line to gain. There was 2 games last year on two seperate 3rd downs that were to win the games that he dropped 2 balls bc he jumped for it when he didnt need to. Other than that hes a DAWG
It absolutely annoys the Shit out of me that they say Tua doesn't deserve the credit because he's got Tyreek Hill and he's got Jalen Waddle.... They are so fast. They're always open like that's what they say over and over. It's not the quarterback. It's because they're always open. They are always open they're when they catch the ball but they are not open when he throws it! They are so fast you have to throw way ahead of them.
Go back and look at the throws bro. Make a montage with throw to wide open timer and it will go viral. They are always open when they CATCH the ball but they are not open when he has to make a decision to set feet, throwing motion, then the balls in the air for 1 and 1/2 to 2.3 seconds. When they get there 3 to 4 seconds after he makes the decision they are wide open. That's great on the receiver but it's even more badass on the quarterback. They are so fast. He always throws the ball before they are open and that's why he's a great quarterback. End of argument for me

If I were to say something negative about Waddle it would be that he JUMPS when he catches the ball … which of course interrupts the route. Stop jumping to catch the ball and don’t break your stride .. you’ll take a lot more of them to the house!!

@@BigR365 I'm hoping as a fan that with weaver and some of the pieces our defense is more of a concern for opponents than or offense. More teams asking how do we get passed the defense to score and keep up with the offense.
Loving watching the 49ers 2.0. McDaniels runs the Shanahan offense almost as well as Shanahan. It's a shame their entire o-line was hurt by the end of the season.

Well his vertical leap will adjust depending on who the defensive back or safety is how big they are that kind of thing I played Safety in high school but I'm 6'3 and have long arms so I smacked a lot of balls down and pick quite a few off

The narrative that Tua has a “noodle arm” is one of the most stupid things you hear over and over again. He can throw it 50+ yards and accurately and that’s all you need.
Yeah he doesn’t have a rocket arm like Josh Allen, but Drew Brees didn’t have a rocket arm and look at what he did. Not only does Tua throw a beautiful deep ball, but he anticipates and throws receivers open as well as any QB.
People just like hating on him, but look at his numbers and watch the tape, and you’ll see that his arm is more than plenty strong.
