I got rejected from Bath for an A*AA course (Civil Engineering) when I had A* Maths, A*Physics but a B in Fine Art. I decided to do a gap year and reapply the following year. (I also retook Fine Art as a backup because I was really set on going to Bath. I got accepted last year when I got an A in Fine Art but also know many people on my course who got in with lower grades. If you definitely want to go to Bath I'd think about reapplying if you are doing a gap year anyway. Good luck!
fair play man congrats. i also studied a BTEC, in IT. tbh i thought universities wouldnt even look at my application but when i got tripple D* and thats equivelent to 3 A* at A level i was shocked lmao. im also now doing my A level maths as i need it for computer science at Uni, hoping to get into a good uni like u.
Thoroughly enjoyed that. Choosing between Loughborough and Exeter seems like a close enough call that you should probably just think which feels most like ‘home for three years’? Bath Spa was an interesting outlier - did you fall in love with the city of Bath generally, or with the really chill campus location?
I did really come to like the thought of living in Bath, but as a mini update , I have chosen to firm Loughborough and because of my grace being backed by both exams and coursework, it’s a near impossibility I don’t reach their requirements. So Exeter being a secondary option is irrelevant. I have however, opted for a gap year and will go to uni in 2024. :)) Thankyou for your comment Richard !
Congratulations 🎉 I applied for Pharmacy and I got 5/5 rejections 🥹 and I am waiting until September or October for my access course results to come out so that I can apply in clearing 😥 Wish me luck guys 😭💝

Daughter got rejected by Bath Psychology with A* Psychology, A* Maths and A Physics. One though place to get into, she was heartbroken

Loughborough is a fantastic uni, one of my best mates graduated 2 years ago from the business school and his career has been flying recently!
I went to Bath Spa and loved it. Great campus and lecturers.
