Littlelulu, there is something so romantic about vintage suitcases. The places they have traveled and the secrets that they hold. If only they could talk! Big hugs
How adorable! Your friend will just love this! The little books are so charming and what a lovely idea to create her favorite books in miniature....so very charming. You did a wonderful job!
You know I have no patience there was no way I could wait!!! I absolutely love it. The suitcase is gorgeous and all the little books from my childhood - I got all teary. Thank you so very much it is a treasure. I might have to do a video for you now - since I peaked xx Michelle
EllenBee this is GORGEOUS!!! So Cute! Love the teeny tiny books you made you are so talented! I'm sure Michelle will LOVE it!!! Oooh I look forward to seeing what she has created for you! By the way you are not alone in getting side tracked from scrapping photo's I still have 2 mini albums to complete with photos for each of my sons when they went to see the F1 in Monza in 2009! There is always something else to create lol! hugs Alyson x
This is adorable and one of the most brilliant altered altoid suitcases I have seen on YT!! Well Done!!! TFS :) Iam searching now for ideas and yours is brilliant!!
I used plain, simple mod podge. I first gave the tin a very light sandpaper to rough it up a bit and the paper stuck beautifully. Because of the uneveness of the tin top I used two layers of papers on the top. Hope this helps! Big hugs
This is very sweet. I am planning my first altoid tin project soon and wondered what kind of glue you used to hold the paper down. I was going to use tacky craft glue, but I want to make sure it's going to work before I apply it to my special paper. :) Thank you for sharing.
Alyson, I thought you only had one son???? Three beautiful children, how lucky you are!! But that also means you have three stacks of children's photos to scrap - Oh my!! Big Hugs
