Like your tutorial. One question Do tou need two plants to handpolinate or just one flowering plant I do have two plants (7 months old) and at the moment only one is flowering
Hello Robert, I have just one Uncarina plant. This year, after blooming a lot, two seed pots are visible. I did not do anything. And there is no other Uncarina plant in the area around (as far as I know). How can this be? Is it possible that the Uncarina is doing a kind of self pollination?
Well, some webs saying, that it is self fertile, some webs saying, that Uncarinas are hermaphrodite, but not self-pollinating. Truth is, that sometimes I have seedpods and I clearly remember, that only one Uncarina was blooming. So, it is possible. Question is, if those seeds will grow to the new plant...
Thank you so so much for this video man!!! Such an underrated plant. Your english is actually good bro :)
Great information. Thanks. I thought the music just got in the way however. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing. I did try today and will keep you updated
Good luck!!! Just preparing "update" video with my seedlings :-)

Hi, you need 2 plants. But Uncarinas are good bloomers, so you will get lucky soon...
Thank you
I will wait, be safe
How you prepared pollen paste
Pollen paste is produced by the plant itself...

@@pakytky Is it easy to grow Uncarinas from seeds?
@@ericwollenschlager2686 Sure. Just soak seeds in watter. Than propagate them to the common cactus soil or pummice.
@@Motoropak Do the seeds need light or should I cover them with soil?
@@ericwollenschlager2686 cover it with soil. As seedling are creating their caudexes i the soil, there should be space to prevent early re-potting.
Dobrý den, nemohl byste toto video přeložit v rychlosti do češtiny? Mám uncariny, ale nikdy neplodily...
Dobrý den, připravil jsem Vám české titulky. Stačí si je u videa zapnout. Hodně štěstí s opylováním. Připravuji video o sklizni a výsevu...
