Very nice, Dan! I'm really digging that new bass player in your band.

Thank you! Really wanted to pull off the scream during the solo section, but I haven’t found the vocal fry switch in me yet. 😁 One day… working on it!

Firstly, I got all excited when I saw your name and "One More Light", and boy, was i not disappointed! I love how vulnerable you sound in these 'dark' songs.
    This was absolutely beautifully done!
That "I do" high part during the solo, man, nailed it would be an understatement.
Such a beautiful cover Dan, I'm so glad you did go through with doing this one!

@jasonwise111, thank you so much, my friend. “Vulnerable” is the best word for this song. I lost a close friend from college a few years back to suicide, and his image was in my mind while working on this one. Yes, life rolls on, but grief takes a long, long time. It’s impossible to not ask, would a simple phone call to check in have made a difference? I’m drawn to songs that ask the hard questions, and this is certainly one that hits home. Thank you, again, for your kind words. It means more than I can say.

      @@danielreedmusic You are most welcome!
I'm so sorry to hear that, grief has its way that's for sure!
That would definitely be a question that would stick around for a long, long time, fortunately I have never been in your position before but its been close.
It does, its like that one thing you've wanted to write your whole life but someone bet you to it.
No need to thank me, just showing appreciation for your talent, your raw emotion that you put into these pieces.
