    Thank you Lori. I adjusted the stage height to about 48" so I could comfortably control my puppets kneeling down. Like the part about locking the elbows. Never thought of that.
    During my retirement I've decided to make puppet music video's of my music from 50 years of creating music. Just starting out but that's the best time to make changes and learn the right way.. Thanks again!

    I think Randy the purple puppet breaks a lot of theses rules 🤣. Clear easy to follow instructions,thank you.
    But if you have more originally, or have I watched this one a lot?

    • @anticringezone1778
      @anticringezone1778 4 роки тому

      No need to follow rules as long as it’s funny. and randy feltface is no exception

      @@anticringezone1778 the difference is, Heath McCivor, who performs Randy, is a professional puppeteer who has worked in a Henson production before.

    Great video! I would love to discuss using a short part of this film for a documentary. How can I send over details?

      Hi Harry thanks for your interest in the video. My wife Lori made it years ago as part of a college project and she remains passionate to this day about puppeteering. Feel free to email her at lorihustead@hotmail.com. Have a blessed day!

    I have a question. I've bought some puppets and noticed the jaw movement is very hard to do, moving the bottom of the mouth with my thumb. Is there a way to make the bottom move easier or better? Thanks

      Sadly no, but practice makes perfect. You can still push up the top a little but dont flap the lid

      You can cross your index and middle finger and then cross your ring finger and pinky and keep them that way while in the puppet. It can be kind of uncomfortable, but it helps the top part of your hand stay still while just your thumb moves.

      I am learning also and I use my other hand to hold the head so it doesn’t move and the I try to move the thumb down so I can feel how the feeling is …. It’s very hard and your thumb feels very tired after a few go’s so I think it will take time to strengthen the thumb muscles and the feelings by just moving the thumb and not the fingers while manipulating the puppet
