I had no idea I could actually do this sort of stuff so just getting started. I love the magic of the puppet
He’s awesome & so animated....so true you can be anything as a puppeteer.
I agree
Joey is so amazing! His career actually went a long way since then. I still can't believe he is Kerry Butler's husband!
He was the voice of the Sesame Street typewriter guy. It's good to put the face with the character.
He is a really good guy. I think he's awesome and the best part, he knows Kerry Butler almost every day. (I'm a huge Kerry Butler fan)
At 5:53 it looks as if he’s choking the little guy out lmao
That was funny. I just wish he would've explained why he left Sesame Street.
First Kevin then Joey what's the point in watching SS now?, look at it this way since they're on HBO, they can probably get away with a lot more now XD
Don't start whining about how Sesame Street is not the same anymore, blah, blah, blah my childhood, Cause I ain't having it!

I got HBO just so I could get the newer Sesame Street. And it's actually not too bad because I do enjoy some the street stories. You know when I read about Joey leaving, I know he said something about how he tried to fight for what he believed was the heart and soul of the show. However, I never really understood what he meant by that. To me (and probably everyone who watches SS), the heart and soul could mean teaching what kids need to know, but I don't know what *he* means by it.
I liked that he mentioned Cam Bonora-Kampouris, speaking of which did you know Camille is Christian? (not really sure what branch of Christianity though, probably Catholic, LDS or Methodist, I think Joe is a Lutheran)
I learned that after I saw this video of someone interviewing her. I only saw a little bit of it, but I believe it was this. /watch?v=Zp7o_6lWIEA
I looked up why and while he didn't give any really specific reasons, he simply didn't like the direction the show was going and thought it was time to move on.
I have a VHS copy of a Sesame Street tape called Sing Hoot and Howl and I believe Joey was the Spanish speaking black sheep.
i started when i was thirty when studied childcare.god taught me.
um. huh?
If childcare.god was a website, it isn't working now. What else you got?
I’ve always wanted a puppet like one of these things and I am still looking
I want one because I feel that my little cousins will really love a little puppet friend at every get together or party
make one yourself , it's really satisfying to make .
Go look for Adam Kreutinger's channel on ytb , great stuff .

The lesson is become a puppeteer?
Jeff Gust Well, it’s definitely an interesting job.
Wish there were more up to date tips on getting the job now.
Jeff Gust Well, there is a puppetry community on UA-cam (e.g. Adam Kreutinger).
7:03 Probably true, for better or worse...
Free the puppet! 😅
