I think a good handrail video would be how to hit the rail the first couple times to loose the fear of the whole idea of hitting a handrail. Like to go to a regular board slide Ollie down and touch the rail and kick out just like you would as if it’s a portable grind rail at a park and just apply the same kick out a few times to loosen up and make things easier.
Did this today definitely works just throw your board towards the rail but commit. I kicked out always at the end but hearing the meta shook me at first. I then got use to it after like 15 minutes
Im 37, just got back into skating after skating sporadically the last 16 years...did my first boards life on a ledge, than took it to a flat rail...I fell bad once on a flat rail as kid do it always stuck with me so I never tried.. but now I JDGAF and am going to go balls out... I'M GOING TO BOARDSLIDE A LEGIT 5 STAIR HANDRAIL or die trying
Thanks, it's gonna be a while before I'm ready for handrails and it's pretty rain up here in PNW but I did set up my ledge on an angle and got a FS boardslide and a half cab lip, and also a half cab nose. I have noticed if you put a little more weight on the lead foot you can lock into the slide and i also get my toes pushing the concave down into the ledge to keep it at the same downward angle and not shoot out from under my feet.
Ok, I got a round flat rail for Christmas. Got boardslides, board to take, FS board, half cab board and yesterday I finally did a 50-50 on the rail, locking in heel side.... I feel like I'm getting close to being ready to hit a handrail
Bruh, easy is not a word I would associate with handrails. It's the only thing I just haven't had the balls to try. I know if I got up the dick to give it a shot I could probably manage but it's scary as hell getting up there. For sure.
I know that handrails are do able, but the slam factor is just nuts
Literally
Slam the nuts factor lol
Handrails and big bowls are so easy to die in☠️
I feel like a certain type of person likes to eat the slams here and there
just don’t be a bitch
You have the most amazing and useful skate tips I've ever seen anywhere! Thanks for making this type of videos!
