I've had a 10" Garmin, steady cast & lvs34 system on my pedal drive kayak just over a year now. It's actually my first set of fishing electronics ever. Considering IV been fishing my whole life & an avid kayak angler for 10 years it was about time! The lvs34 is awesome. I actually keep mine in perspective mode 80% of the time. Keep it facing forward/direction I'm fishing or drifting & use it like a live 360 more or less. If I'm in less than 15' I've got it in perspective. Withy fishing specialties transducer mount I can change the angle of the transducer infinitely for different depths

Your dog knows the hook set! 😂. That’s awesome. Glad to see you out there enjoying HW. It’s a special place.

I really liked the video, would love to see more on the perspective mode and explained how to read it.
I have a question about how to correctly setup the transducer for Perspective Mode. I have the LVS32. I don’t remember mines came with a bracket for it when I got it a couple of years ago.
I bought a “more economic” 3-D Printed perspective mode mount from EBay.
When I set for perspective mode on the pole there is a noticeable bend because of the mount. Therefore the transducer point upwards a bit and is not horizontally straight.
There was an option for 0° mount but I’m not sure if that what I needed. I have a Sniper Marine 3.0 model pole.
Does the transducer need to be level horizontally?

So I haven’t used the LVS32, but my mount is set at 11 degrees (I believe) downward. I think a zero degree mount is supposed to be better for seeing your bait, but not for seeing the bottom.
