YAAAS gummy bears 🐻 🐻 hahaha
i lov3 this recipe. its something i can imagine a fish enjoying.
I have been making home made gel food for over 15 years. I add duckweed and "dated" baby food to the mix. I also spray canola oil on the molds so that the food slips out before I freeze it. My molds are in the shape of fish. Great idea. Thanks for sharing. Fred O
What do you mean by dated baby food? Sounds cool
@@rachelsmith896 I use baby food in jars which is listed past best before date but the seal is not broken. The food is still good but would not feed it to any babies just in case. The only minor draw back is the food tends to be watery, so I just add more gelatin. Hope that answers your question.
Great video!
funny image in my head: fish who tear apart a gummy bear :D
Awesome mold...gummy bears...so cute. Who says we can't have fun while making some good stuff for our shrimp and fish.
👍💕👍
Cute AF lil bears bro. Great vid.😂👍✌️😎
This was so funny I love how you stood the bear up 😂
Bear mauled by shrimp! Similar to the gel food I make, however I like to add some fresh veggies and sprirulina powder. Great way to repurpose unused fish food.
I use hot water with my agar, but I stir it in and add it slowly.
Odds are they were a but mushy because you added enough agar for the water but not to account for the extra volume in the fish food itself.
I want that mold. That's awesome. 😄 Such a fun video. 💖🐡💖
Great video. My bullet has a coffee grinder blade attachment which is better in grinding dry stuff.
That’s cute, thanks for sharing the recipe!
That’s an excellent idea. Neat way to deal with spare fish food.
Liked your gummy bear fish food--I got the same as a result of your video; making food today, a mix of Repashy & DIY. Keep up your DIY's.
Good for thinking outside the box!!!
Will be interesting to watch
Thats a really cool project JH
Nice idea! Great fun too...and they love it! :)
That’s a unique way to feed repashy lol love it!
Awesome video, Thanks!
Fun video. I'm gonna try this
Awesome definitely try this & kinda fo want to start some shrimps but dont know much about shrimps. But I'd put algea & pea powder in them .
man these are awesome!
Now I know what to give my kids as snacks 👍
Awesome, I did the same type of video last year! I use a magic bullet, teehee. I use to call this snail jelly, but it works!
Great video!! Btw. Agar is a much better choice for gel fish foods, than unflavored gelatin.
Thank you for sharing this! I've been trying to find an easier way to spot feed my inverts and this is perfect. Two snaps and a clap from me. ✨😊💕
Thank you so much
I add frozen worms and insects of any kind that my fish eat fresh (blackworms, tubifex, bloodworms, mosquito larvae, whiteworms, earthworms, mealworms etc.). Also spirulina powder and use silicon tiny ice cube trays.
Freeze them in your molds, then pop out and store. Or just leave them in the molds and store molds in a zip lock bag.
Love the gummy bear fish food treats! What type of endler is that?
They are endler, guppy hybrid.
Awwwww so cute. I wonder if my Hillstreams will eat this. If nothing else it will look weird as heck..LOL Okay. Pizza Dough recipe next?
I grind my agar with my food and add it to boiling hot water just like Repashy. Never had an issue to be honest.
Guess I would use peas and some sort of fish and a calcium tablet all ground up. If you have a plague of duck weed in your tank, could use that, it's high in protein.
Could you freeze it in one big block? Then when you want to feed it to your fish just get the CHEESE GRATER out with different sizes for different sized fish, shrimp etc. Then put the block back in the freezer until the next time!
Another Great Video, the Gummy Bears look a perfect size but it's causing the fish to fight over lol.
Thankyou. Yes, traditionally it is cut up into cubes.
Hi Sir
Thank you for sharing.
Great information 👍👍👍
I've a few questions
1. I've got the agar agar strips. Can i blend them up into powder and then use the 1 teaspoon per cup of water?
2. How long do the diy food last for?
3. The extra powdered food remaining how do you store it?
4. I'm a bit confused do you add the powdered food with the cold agar mixture or you heat up agar mixture then add the powdered food to bind?
You can find the measurement of the strips. But the gelatin doesnt have to be perfect. The foods can last a long time in the freezer sealed or it will dry out fast. The extra powdered fish food I keep it in the refrigerator and I use it as fry food as well. I boil the water, melt the agar and then add the powdered food. :-)
But....how does it taste? Thinking it might be good for trick or treaters.
😆😬🤢
