Here's a tip to see what MPG you're getting: Home > Vehicle > Trip Computer. You'll find you get three trip computers, A, B and Auto (which resets with ignition) Check the manual if you need more info :)
@zigire You beat me to it! Great cars, wonderful cruises too. If I sit at 70mph I can achieve 31 to 32mpg in my N/A X150. Sitting at an indicated 80mph (about a genuine 76mph) drops it to around 29 to 30mpg.
Totally agree with your comments. Take ours to southern Spain and find it comfortable and relaxed. Driving a bit quicker than the UK limit gives us approximately 28mpg. Ours is a convertible so off the ferry, roof down and enjoy the sun.
I’m looking to buy one this year for my retirement, taking a route through France to visit old friends then over the Pyrenees into Spain and on to Menorca. Sounds like an ideal car for the trip.
@@mrh9170 Just be careful of the radar speed traps, I keep getting nice letters from the Spanish police asking for donations ! Good thing is pay it straight away and it's halved and no points. I'm not tanking it, just cruising a little fast (10-20 kmh) as the extra 10mph over the distance shortens the journey for my wife by over an hour.
I think I might be trying to relive my youth, toured Europe in a TR6 in the early 80’s and I have an urge to take a road trip again (not that I love Spain has any influence on it)😂
Nice one. Love the drive experience on mine. I bought a little dash unit which is located between the door pillar and dash, it gives me: engine temp , oil pressure, g force for acceleration, battery voltage voltage, and a few other readings. It plugs in to the OBD socket. Cable hidden. A neat unit. A Christmas present from my wife. It has about 6 different displays depending what you want . Great info gadget. 👍
Have you ever had the opportunity to test that safety feature where if you hit a pedestrian head on supposedly the bonnet will rise to minimize impact, or maximize altitude, dependent on collision?
Oh definitely I can confirm I have driven it without caring about MPG, thought it might be worth sharing the average over those 4300 miles which includes everything.

Aaah mate… that sounds like a nice bit of kit… wouldn’t mind one if you have a link for it or make and model of the gadget?
Happy to see there were no problems

lol. Thankfully not although I have had 2 x150s and both needed the damn sensors replacing. They almost always fail
Just enjoy the cruise 😂
5:43 flick what to the right?
Sorry… I meant to say left… the gearstick (to put it into sport mode)
Inside lane ?
😇
Who cares about MPG, sell that car to me and get yourself a Prius! It's a sports GT. For The Love of all that is good. drive it like one.
