In Germany we have like a traditional season end ride in early december and sometimes we have to break the ice with a boat before riding so yeah I‘d be happy to ride with 45° fahrenheit at this time of the year lmao
JB, since it's almost winter, I think you need to try snow skis at the cable. Some fat powder skis might actually work. On a cold note, we shut down West Rock Wake Park on closing day, Oct 20. Air and water temps at about 54 degrees. We got 6 inches of snow a week later. Keep it up, we love what you do!

MAKING A ROOSTER TAIL! i already know how to make one as well. on the tail of a old board drill a hole that will fit a 1/2 inch piece of PVC pipe (about 6 inch long) through it at a 45 degree angle. on the pvc pipe that is under the board and under water, glue on a pvc 45 degree elbow to the end of the pipe. then secure this thing how ever possible, zip ties with pilot holes, rubber cement, whatever. SOOO, its really just a pipe at a 45* angle, with a scoop made out of a 45* elbow, shoved through the tail of a shitty board. BINGO BANGO ROOSTER TAIL TANGO!!!

@@jboneill we are using a 3/2 wetsuit and another 1mm shirt under it. I hope so,someone might be able to do it. I tried a box for the 2nd time, fell off and hit the box with the front edge of my board while in the water. The shop gave me a loan board, so thats really nice👌
64 degrees is a cool summer's day or a warm day any other time of year where I am from. You just need to wear the right gear for the conditions. You were all in shorties. You should never feel cold on the water even at 35 degrees f.

unfortunately, i can not upload imgs here, so will i text that's how it usually goes in russia: it's possible to ride until lakes are freezed, so even snow does not stop few of us from occasional rough&tough open water sessions i suppose, david oc should understand since he rides balyhass even by late autumn and early winter

use nuts and bolts. The minimal drag of the bolts will be far outweighed by the rigidity of the binding connection.
