Splash Landings Hotel is usually the cheapest bricks and mortar option when it comes to Alton Towers Resorts official on-site hotel offering. Does cheapest mean the worst? Should you pay extra to stay at one of the other hotels? Or is Splash Landings Hotel incredible value for money?
The colourful, fun Caribbean themed hotel has brilliant beachcomber, beach hut themed rooms sleeping up to four people with a double bed and 2 single bunk beds. Each room has a private en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
Splash Landings Hotel is the closet hotel to the Alton Towers Theme Park reachable by a special entrance for hotel guests and the Extraordinary Golf, themed mini golf and monorail station to the main theme park entrance are literally a couple of steps from the hotel entrance.
Inside the hotel you’ll find gift shops, Ma Garrita’s Bar with lively family focused evening entertainment and Flambo's Jambo Restaurant a buffet restaurant serving evening meals plus the included morning buffet breakfast.
The Alton Towers Waterpark is located inside Splash Landings Hotel, you’ll find indoor and outdoor water fun with lazy river, slides and bubbly hot tubs. Most packages do not include the waterpark and this is usually available for an additional charge.

I stayed back in the day when there were proper perks, the water park was included as was extra ride time and some fast passes…those were the days! 👵🏻
