- The Eastgate Mall show (Cincinnati) had a dime box full of fun finds, especially if you like the 90s and 2000s. Plus, a few Hostess rookies for a quarter. If you like the cards you see on my videos, the ones that don’t go into my personal collection or to close friends, end up on my TCDB page. You can find me at “jarchiable” on there. #collect #thehobby #baseballcards #footballcards #tradingcards #dimebox
Bernie Williams, Carlos Baerga, Ivan Rodriguez, Paul O'Neill...looks like you were shopping for me. 😄
Many great finds.
@@victornegroncards It definitely was heavy on 90s and 2000s guys this time. The guy I bought from said he worked at a baseball card shop at that time, and it shows.
Man. Another great haul. Love that Strawberry throwback. Agreed on TCDB. We’ve traded with him and it is easy and TCDB is a great place to build your collection.
@@zachandporter it is sooooo easy to make quick deals on there. Best place. Plus, your collection is in your hand.
Great video!👍
@@PennySleeveSteve Thanks man! A couple fun boxes to dig through if you like 90s/00s, which I do.
My favorite card from this episode is the Foot Locker Junior Griffey for a $1.00 - great pickup.
That was a nice pickup. I'm slowly working on those Foot Locker sets.
Cal Ripken Jr was born and raised in the Baltimore area.
You are right! And of course, the newest member, Joe Mauer is from St. Paul, Minnesota and only played for the Twins. I can’t believe I forgot that one. Very cool.
Ron Oester born and raised in Cincinnati, played his entire major and minor league career with the Reds. He went to Withrow, came up in 78 and finished with the champion 1990 Reds team.
Dead on. You can literally make an entire roster with guys who played for the Reds who grew up in Cincinnati. I know, I've created the roster. Haha
Love the video! Larkin is a PC guy for me. Will have to make the drive down to the Eastgate show from Dayton sometime. Always enjoy your Cincy guys. What set is that Yogi in the '84 design from? It's freaking rad!
The 1984 Yogi is from the 2012 Topps Archives set. It is legit awesome. I loved it the second I saw it. Larkin is a great guy to PC. I'm going to start adding all of his cards to my TCDB page soon so I can figure out what exactly of his I have. And the Eastgate show is highly underrated, most of the time. Worth the drive. My only ask is if you see some weird oddballs, you let me know. haha
@@dimeboxdiscoveries Will do! 😅
Griffey Jr, Chipper, Mauer and Baines were all drafted #1 overall.
You got HALF of what I was looking for. Yes, they were indeed all drafted number 1 overall, AND they are all in the Hall of Fame. The only 4 to do so.
@@dimeboxdiscoveries Ah, I missed that :). I wasn't sure about Baines, had to google it.
@@diverdave2179 Credit to you for being on that first part. You were correct. And now it’s a fact you will remember. You can use it during a trivia night, to impress your friends, or never need that information again. Haha
I like the 84 Yogi
So do I! What an amazing pic.
