It has nothing to do with the Law Society of Ireland. He wants to become a barrister, not a solicitor. It is the the Bar of Ireland that he has the issue with.

@saz6452 There is no legally binding Law in Ireland that requires anyone to fly a rainbow flag. Please stop being a drama queen. If you consider people being upset with you a "Law" then you need a safe space.

Happily, those most foolish as to wipe things with court orders frequently cross the street after their fifth beer and fail to make it to the bar on the other side for the sixth. Sad for the sober motorist however.

Fantastic new law - stalking is a real thing and so it's a nice easy method to get back control against the stalker
If one does get a civil or criminal restraining order, it's only a piece of paper. And, that will not stop someone who's determined.
@@texashsad no - but it does go a long way - and there are other methods that can come into effect with the determined!
