One thing I learned from Christine mcconnell is that she uses patreon to keep her income but works on her own schedule. She is also very perfectionistic. Uploads once every 2 or 3 months and still is doing well. You need to put your mental health first. You have loads of creativity with design. Your home and dresses show that.

I remember when you talked about how you completely overworked yourself during the lockdown and I definitely knew then that this would happen eventually...though it definitely took longer than I thought it would, which I definitely think is a testament to not only your work ethic but your unstoppable determination to do amazing things. Freddy, I hope you will continue to prioritize your health!! The hilarious irony of social media is that we are bombarded with 'how to stay skinny' 'how to have perfect skin' 'how to stop comparing yourself to photoshopped people' but nobody really talks about how to have a healthy relationship with your job when you work in social media. In fact, all the platitudes about using social media healthily go out the window once it's your source of income. Which is ridiculous, because when it's your job, your whole life is tied up in being under the scrutiny of literally millions of people a day, and having a healthy relationship with your job is the _only_ way to enjoy it. It's been a long time since I went to church, but I still remember the adage that you can't help another person get a stick out of their eye without first removing the great plank in your own.
I discovered your channel a couple years ago and it brought me a lot of happiness and comfort during a time when my mental health was so bad I wasn't even aware of it. Catching up with you weekly these past years has been fun and healing for me, and it's your turn to feel that as well. it'll be nice to know that when you post it'll come from a place of genuine love for your craft. We'll be waiting when you next return!!

I can totally relate to every word you said. I have an anxiety problem as well and it got worse and worse because of perfectionism and defining myself in terms of career. Yes, tunnel vision, you only look at life from a certain angle and this where it became a source of horrible anxiety for me. My therapist advice to me why to widen my vision and focus on all aspects of my life instead of just work. It helps a lot but it’s hard work. I would have never thought that you are dealing with those kind of things, but you are so right.. we never know a persons truth.. only the few bits we get to see, and even those we just make and bend into what we want to believe. I feel sorry to you, because in the past weeks I often felt... annoyed or rather frustrated. Your videos are always something to look forward to every week after a long day at work and it was disappointing to be let down so many times without an explanation. But you are right.. you don't owe us anything. That's why I am grateful that you have now given us an answer to our questions. It just helps to realize that even though it might be disappointing to us in some ways, this is your life and your health.. and that should always come first. I really really hope you will find a way that works for you in order not to lose this love you had for youtube content creation in the past. I studied and graduated from law in Germany and somehow completely relate to your situation. You give your all to achieve your goals, you base your selfworth on your success, you have no such thing as diversified fullfilment and suffer from anxiety. It does not depend on the job, it depends on the person - and you are a very determined, ambitious and perfectionist one. These are good qualities but they also bring you to this point in life. It will be hard to build that new habits but you will gradually make changes in your live and finally get there. Don‘t give up, you will find your way ❤️

i've never felt entitled to seeing a certain amount of content from any creator i follow. rather, i go about my day, and when i notice a new video (or whatever content form for whichever creator), i just get giddy excited to see something else from them. knowing that, in future, anything we see from you is because you were in the mood to film and show us just makes it even more exciting tbh

We all grow up and always want to do something different, obviously we are not the same person anymore compared to 5-10 years ago so I think your thoughts are very natural. Also flossy is something that you started to do apart from youtube which can also drive motivation in a different way. I think us subscribers really enjoy watching your videos the most when you are happy filming it! You deserve to take breaks (so called "normal jobs" have 4-7 weeks of vacation per year so don't think your break is "less deserving" at all) and especially because your everyday life = work at this point, it sounds like a healthy thing to take a step away and rest. Love watching you and thanks for being honest without being cringy/making clickbait videos, really appreciate it!

We all love you and would never wish to hear that your health is affect by an algorithm of weekly up load . Creativity needs time and space to develop. Give your self time especially when launching your brand this takes so much work, you really can’t burn yourself out to often.
Take this as a fresh perspective, no unnecessary pressure. If it’s not truly fore filling your life then don’t do it.
Your travel vlogs are so amazing, I’ve been to so many beautiful places vicariously through you and I will hopefully go on more trips.

I was missing you and your vlogs but figured you were simply slowing down or doing fewer videos since the latest few have been so packed with content, or that you were busy with your next collection. I am happy that you are taking care of yourself and really hope you find joy and balance going forward. We sometimes have to let go of the old to embrace the new as we grow, sad but true. I LOVE the new Act 1 collection so much!!! (Your mom is a hoot! Missed Coco antics though.) My dilemma is which one to buy. The Darcy dress is my dream Thanksgiving dress, but the one with the matching jackets is to die for! But then there's the sweater dress! OMG I love them all! If you had a ‘normal’ job, you’d likely have your evenings to yourself where you’d get to switch off, annual leave (for holidays where you don’t have to film content) and most people move around jobs every few years for a change of scenery! You’d also be working closely with other people in a team and your whole life wouldn’t be about work. They would generally be a separation of your work and personal life which doesn’t really exist as an influencer I think because your personal life is part of your image and your image is your business.
After 8 years it’s understandable you’d be ready to move on, or put some strong boundaries in place to make sure your work life balance is really strong! ❤

Freddy, I love you so much and have missed you even more than I ever thought! I am SO glad you're living your life the way that is best for you. I think doing UA-cam so much was killing your love and passion for it and making it seem more like drudgery and a chore rather than a creative outlet (because of all of the pressure of regularly putting out content), so easing up and creating solely when you're inspired is going to be amazing for you and your channel! It's your channel, and your life, and you get to decide how best to manage it to fit your life. It doesn't have to look like what everyone else is doing to be worthy and unique. I am so, so happy for you! You deserve this! I can't wait to see what's in store for your channel in the future! 💗
