This is so amazing. Humans are resilient! Oh great...my eyes leaked listening to The Miracle Man ❤As we Americans sitting on twitter bickering back & forth over minute issues...and these people are surviving off of so little stuff but tons of hope.
The people are beautiful, a true testiment of human reslilience. The story of the boy in the hospital broke my heart, and yet he is smiling and positive, with no sign of bitterness.
Masya Allah..this refugee camp are way better and more properly organized than some cities in the Asia . ..Kudos and respect to our Syrian brothers and sisters. we can see how well educated and well civilized syrian are...the war back at their home certainly not really coming from them. but coming from some hidden foreign intervention. And we know who really involves... love and respect from Malaysia.
I live just a short distance from the Zatari camp. And now it is August, 2021, six years after the making of this video and ten years after the beginning of the war in Syria with no end in sight. Daraa, Syria, just a short distance from here, has been ruthlessly bombed by the Syrian regime and Russia just this last month. So sad for the people of what still remains of the beautiful country of Syria. God give you and your children peace and strength and love to endure.
I'm impress by jordan and whoever doing things to make people live in that refugee camp are better and better. and the moment I saw that reservoir, it's a prove that they are genuine. in couple of years, if jordan allowed it, it will be a city. I'm beyond impress because my country are handling Burmese refugee half heartedly and left them not as quite good as here.
Such brave children in the hospital, it's so sad they get hurt for other people's evils, little one who lost his eye makes me cry - wow so so brave . Bless them and wish these children the best.
Syrians are amazing people by nature. The warmth and love in their hearts makes me want to be a better person. They've lost their homes, family members, their jobs, their country. How They've managed to come together in unity and survive within the parameters of a desert is mind blowing. Their resilience to not only survive middle of nowhere but managed to turn a desert into their city. The Lord is looking down and smiling at their hope and strong faith they have in God. God bless each and every one them, always. Like Jordan, why can't the USA do the same for their refugees? Like Jordan, instead of having 80,000 Syrian refugees in their cities ,they instead gave them an open field of their desert. The US has mikes upon miles of land, why not do what Jordan did? I remember when they were escaping Syria, Jordan put up miles and miles of tenants to house them in the thousands. I remember Syrian famalies crying and in despair, hopeless and in fear for their future. Here they are, they've turned a desert of sand and dust into a home, definite or indefinite,it's their home, their city, with an address, most likely a postal code, too . If they should obtain visas to other countries, they're people I'd welcome with open arms. If they contribute to Jordan's desert, imagine what they'd contribute to other countries. Doctor's, engineers, and antreprenuers, for sure.
Thank u for this documentary...i smiles throughout with joy..Its no where an ideal situation but kudos for the community for building from what they have n making memories once they lost ..
