Assembling/Testing the Worksaver Bale Spin-Off Attachment

- I recently bought a new tractor attachment to help with the chore of feeding cows. It’s made by a company called Worksaver and it’s called a Bale Spin Off attachment. You use it like a bale fork and it has the ability to rotate and flake off round bales.
Here’s the companies website if you have interest in more information about the attachment.

Great time saver for unrolling round bales Bryan
It’s worked out really well so far!
Another interesting video. All the filming and storytelling are appreciated. I'm sure your trips and family visits will be enjoyable.
Thank you! I’m excited to slow down and take some time to spend with the family. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!
Great video Bryan
I never comment on UA-cam. This is my first. But it's Christmas and you're a hard working badass and from someone who understands hard work, I wanted to give you a shout out for holding a full time job, raising a family, and ranching. All while filming this for our entertainment. Thats impressive to say the least and think if you keep putting these videos out the following will creep in. Love the channel and wanted to give you some praise. And watching your son roam around being a kid and grow up ranching is what life is supposed to be about! Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you and your family! Jeremy
Thank you for the encouraging comment! It means a lot! I’ve been excited for my son to get a bit older where he can come and help with things more and more. We just had a baby girl about a month ago and I will be excited for her to get involved also in due time. I always feel like I’m busy and always have something to do. I’m never bored that’s for sure. Thanks again and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!
Merry Christmas, hope you and the family have a safe and blessed holiday, can’t wait for the elk footage
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family also! We’ve had a pretty mild winter so far so the elk haven’t really shown up yet but I am watching for them.
If it makes it safer, easier & quicker then it was a good buy, I hope you had a really good Christmas with the family.
I like that way of thinking. It’s made things safer for sure and it seems to make things easier so far.
@@LuthiRanchWY Farming is hard enough even with all the tools available, and of course, everything is expensive these days. Happy new year 🤞🤞👍👍👌👌
Not being a round bale feeder, this is a new one for me. I think you did a great job of videoing the assembly and operation, plus the pro and con with your feed. It sure looks like it will give you an easier time feeding. Hope you and your family get well soon and enjoy Christmas and New Year. Keep up the videos looks like your closing in on 10K subs your efforts are starting to be appreciated!
Thank you! It’s exciting to see the channel continue to grow. It’s taken a lot of work and time so it’s nice seeing the growth. I’ve been pretty happy with the attachment so far. I’ll keep working out the kinks and figure out the best way to use it. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!
Your doing a good job! Just keep the course and don't get discouraged. I found a picture I will email your way. @@LuthiRanchWY
Merry Christmas to you and your family from here South of you but North of the border 🙂
Thank you! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family also! How has you guys winter been so far?
Thank you! No snow yet and it's 40F today! Cattle can still graze on high ground ha ha. One of those years here in Southern Ontario.@@LuthiRanchWY
It’s been pretty mild winter for us so far this year also. I’m not complaining though haha.
Working smarter not harder. 👍🏻👍🏻
Merry Christmas from my herd to yours 🎄
I’m trying to do things smarter! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family also!
@@LuthiRanchWY waiting to see how this works out as I may get on for my operation.
I’ll probably do a final review on it once I’ve used it for a while. I’ve been happy with it so far.
@@LuthiRanchWY I will be watching for it. Thanks
You can also chase elk with that thing! ; ) Merry Christmas.
Haha that would be a pretty menacing weapon
Can't wait for when you make a video and build one.
Haha if a guy had the time it would be too hard to build one.
Good one
👍
Thank you. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, Bryan!
Merry Christmas to you and your family also! I remember Christmas without snow feeling a bit different when I was on my mission in the Philippines haha. It’s been a very mild winter up here so far this winter. Not much snow and it hasn’t really gotten too cold. Only a few days below 0 so far. Take care!
Merry Christmas and have a great New Year!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family also!
Great time saver I'm sure you'll get the kinks ironed out. Have a Merry Christmas and stay safe
Merry Christmas to you and your family also! I used it again yesterday and I’m still happy with the purchase. Definitely saving me time.
Merry Christmas Bryan.
Merry Christmas to you and your family also!
You have to mount that on your frontend loader.
Thanks for sharing your day 👍
I’ve seen a couple different versions that you can mount to the loader or a skid steer.
Has this winter been a little easier than last so far? I know it has here, still no snow even. That is a pretty sweet unit, should make feeding a cinnch this winter. Looks like you can put the hay anywhere you want it. How many head are you feeding? Also, there is a video of the track machine on my channel. Nice piece of equipment have a great day!
This winter has been a lot milder than last year. A lot less snow at least so far, we still have alot of winter left. I feed right around 70 cows.
Merry Christmas to you and yours bud.
I can see that being useful but do you ever use round bail feeders? I only know one person with cows, and he doesn't like to put the feed on the ground.
I subbed cuz of your welding projects but like watching your other content also.
Thanks for the sub! Merry Christmas to you and your family also! We have round bale feeders also but I don’t like to use them much because the cows pull the hay out and trample it so you have a lot of waste. I like rolling it out because there is next to no waste. The trick is you only roll out the exact amount your cows will eat that in one day, if you lay out more than a days worth of hay the cows will lay in it and they will waste a lot. If you are curious how I feed you should watch my previous video right before this one and I explain it better.
Do you like that it throws it off in clumps? Like if cows are less likely to step and lay on it ect…Rather than rolling it out..
I wouldn’t say I like it more but like you said I might help with the cows not stepping on it so much because the cows can circle the clump and not be standing on the other hay while they are eating. I try and feed just enough for that day so I don’t usually have problems with them laying in it since it gets eaten up so fast. The only problems with the clumps would be if the hay got dumped into too big of pile, it would probably get trampled a bit and soiled.
👍🙏
Thank you! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!

Thank you! Merry Christmas!
I was thinking about you cuz I have not seen your videos in a while , and some how i missed about 4 of them . Merry Christmas and r u going to post elk recipes on your channel this year 🤪
You’ll have to catch up! I’ve been trying to do one a week. I don’t always accomplish that but that’s my goal. Merry Christmas to you and your family also! Hopefully I don’t have to do a video on elk recipes this year.
@@LuthiRanchWY i already did lol , great job merry Christmas
