- Meet the river otter family! After the video, you can find at-home ideas to learn more about these animals and how to help them at www.oregonzoo....
...
Committed to conservation, Oregon Zoo is currently working to save endangered California condors, Oregon silverspot and Taylor's checkerspot butterflies, western pond turtles and Oregon spotted frogs. Other projects include studies on Asian elephants, polar bears, orangutans and giant pandas. Celebrating 125 years of community support, the zoo relies in part on donations through the Oregon Zoo Foundation to undertake these and many other animal welfare, education and sustainability programs.
Keeping me sane. I’m used to being at home because I’m disabled by a cluster of disorders, but not this long and not under this much stress. These videos are really helping. Thank you Oregon Zoo!
Hope you are feeling better. I feel ill so I came here. Eternally happy animals (I think)
This is keeping me alive rn

Really wish you guys were able to upload at a higher resolution. Are these really old or is there an issue with export settings?
Hi Shawn, these are Facebook Live downloads, and unfortunately at the moment, SD is all that's available to download for live video. We're hoping to fix that situation this week.
@@oregonzoo Thanks for the info. I work in AV, so I was going to offer some remote consultation/assistance if it was needed.

Otter chaos!
Kitties
Is it 2020 and I'm watching a video in 320p max resolution? I can't see the otters :(
It's 360p, not 320. Most likely the zoo staff weren't given good equipment for these livestreams, or they don't know how to stream at higher resolutions, or their internet connection isn't good enough to stream in HD. Considering that zoos are currently relying entirely on donations to survive, let alone keeping their staff paid (they have families to support), I wouldn't expect HD quality. Buying that equipment isn't cheap.
Gli animali sempre ossessionati dal cibo 😅
