I was amazed that they took such tiny bites. So many other animals just gulp and swallow their food.
In fact, one of them brushes her teeth like a human for a long time every morning with a human toothbrush.

Ohhhh that looked like so much fun for the Otters to swim after the live fish in the pool and try to catch them. 50 fish were gone in no time. L caught on very quickly and was successful at catching fish. The other babies caught on after a while. And they learned to hide their fish before another Otter snatched it from them. It was fun to watch this video.
L is such a strong hunter! Like Tororo. She caught at least 5 fish all by herself. First try. That girl has a future as the Fisher Queen! Amazing video. Thank you, LOUTRE family.

They've got Big Brother Tororo setting a great example -- he is very good at being an otter! (IIRC he learned to hunt pretty early on since he also learned to swim early)

For just 4 months, they all grew up so fast to be catching fish on their own. One year old Tororo's got serious competition now.

Thanks to Auntie Odashi, everyone had the yummiest fish! 👏🏻👏🏻. I can understand the pups reticence in getting in the pool while the adults were churning up the water, but once L pushed through her fear and jumped in, after awhile it was “every otter for themselves!” 🤩🤩. They are growing up so fast thanks to Mum, Auntie, and big brother Tororo! 🥰🥰. I know of another little otter who would probably have been in there first!! ❤️🦦❤️

@@AsYouuuWiiish Guess I wasn't the only one thinking that… Love was never afraid of a new challenge -- she would have watched Tororo hunt for a few seconds and then jumped right in! Who knows whether she'd be able to catch a fish since she couldn't stay underwater for long (exposed sinus cavity), but she would've tried!
Love was the "alpha" of the quints… 🌈 With her gone, I guess it's Elle's place to take up the role…

L is quite the hunter. she was zooming after live fish like an expert, even though it is the first time seeing them. She also quickly figured out how to stay in the pool and face the wall so she could keep the fish she caught. So fun to watch them learn mrore and more. Thank you as always for sharing them with us.

I've had canned Sardines from Norway, Morocco, Italy & Vietnam...
The ones from Italy & Morocco are very similar since they're in the same body of water and harder to tell the difference.
The ones caught in the colder waters of Norway are my favorite with the Italian caught fish a close second...
The cheaper Vietnamese Sardines are OK and would buy if that was the only thing available, but I'd rather hold out for the cold catch to go on sale... 👍👍👍
