Thank you for this, i have a v6 ATS and downpipes are the last part to my build unless i go SC But i have a bigger throttle body, ported intake manifold, airbox mod, secondary cat deleted into an xpipe and then straight to Magnaflow mufflers .
I now watch this video just for that idle sound after the new downpipe are installed ! 🤣😂 That's a great sound, but I realize it didn't sound so great when you were driving it 😆.
You can get a wonderful Idle out of the LFX 3.6 but it's when you are driving down the road is when it sounds like shit. No matter what you do to these engines you'll never get them to sound as good as a Nissan VQ or a Ford 3.7 Cyclone.
So I have the 3.6 L 2015 Chevy Camaro. Did I hear you right in saying they don’t make after market headers cause I been looking and I haven’t had no luck
I can't speak on catless sound because I never had them. The difference is one is illegal and the other is not. You need catalytic converters for it to be legal.
it sounds better catless or without secondary cats with a resonated x pipe, his is hella raspy and a baby could tell that’s a v6 so try getting some aftermarket mufflers to tone that rasp down
Was hoping the sound would be different since they are down pipes with cats. I had install down pipes with no cats and sounded good but driving around sounded horrible so I had to remove them and sale them unfortunately. You should make a video to hear the sound while driving im curious to hear what it sounds like.
Idle sounds 👍🏻great ! I have been entertaining buying those headers. I have a 2015 RS with Chevrolet Performance mufflers. I actually like the sound but looking for more "breathing out" (I have the cold air intake) high flow... I've been eyeing these for awhile. Your idle is incredible... you can't tell that's a V6...LOL.
I can't imagine if you put a set of Mace performance cams in with those American Racing Headers...the chop chop sounds at idle would be crazy awesome !
@@WigginsFam79 Do you have an H Pipe or X Pipe ? I have an H Pipe from factory and considering getting an X Pipe. All the videos I have watched, seems the X Pipe gives a deeper exhaust tone.
Your local shop can get them for you but you may have to wait till the parts come in. Gaskets should always be replaced but clamps do not. I replaced mine because I knew they were rusted.
I’m thinking about getting these for my 2020 v6 I already have the factory npp exhaust but can you make a video soon of it driving around I’m sure yk there’s not a lot of examples out there.
I had an issue with obnoxious rasp myself once I deleted the secondary cats and resonators and muffler delete. It was unbearable. However, once I installed the X-pipe, the rasp was mostly gone and much more bearable. I also found out that I had a ton of exhaust leaks at just about every joint from the mechanic that did the poor job. Once the leaks were patched, it sounded much better. Are you sure you dont have any exhaust leaks? I want to get ARH for mine soon but I dont want the obnoxious rasp again. I am thinking that I wont but who knows.
I know I have no leaks because they checked for that and when I put in the resonated xpipe it all sounded perfect. If I had leaks, it would still sound like crap.
I don't have a price on install as mine were installed during another repair so it was free for me. Depends on what tune you want. It can range from $400-800 or even more. You get what you pay for.

What numbers are you pushing with all those performance parts

Rpi still sells catless downpipes im looking for some right now and found those they are ARH
How long did they take to ship? Cause I just ordered mine and it’s been almost 2 weeks
I don't remember but I would call them.
So I have the 3.6 L 2015 Chevy Camaro. Did I hear you right in saying they don’t make after market headers cause I been looking and I haven’t had no luck
They make aftermarket down pipes. These engines do not have headers that can be detached. They are built into the block.
The 3.6 lfx is a hard engine to get to sound good. The main reason being ypu cannot install traditional style headers.
I don’t mind to ask when you bought them did they come with the screws for the headers , the bolts that each header has the 2 holes ?
No screws. You use all hardware that is already on the car.
Quick question did yours pop up a check engine when u install them ?
No
What's the difference between catless header downpipes and downpipes w/cats? Which would sound more powerful?
I can't speak on catless sound because I never had them. The difference is one is illegal and the other is not. You need catalytic converters for it to be legal.

Is it possible to do 3 inch downpipes ? If so can anyone point to the right direction where they sell them at? Thank you!
I don't know. But that way too big in my opinion. You will loose back pressure. Bigger is not always better.
Bro where did you get your tune, I'm going catless and I at least want to accommodate for the extra airflow, I'm pretty sure my car is bleeding gas.
I have videos of that on the channel. Just browse around and you will find it.

Did you need o2 sensors for the engine light not to come on?
For this setup, with a factory tune, yes.
@@mistermanage1119 thank you
That’s why imma try to keep my mufflers on for my build. lol
Sounds bad to the bone tho
Did you feel any difference in power or speed?
No because my car is tuned. Doesn't work like that.
How long did it take for the downpipes to be delivered to you bro
Within 2 weeks.
No check engine light?
No

@@WigginsFam79 Does it give you a nice deep exhaust tone?
Does your car have a rattle at all?
No rattle. It's a rasp.
Any check engine lights come on with these?
I am tuned so I couldn't tell yah to be honest. For me, no. But for a stock car, I dont know if you will get a CEL
So you have an xpipe also I wish they had a video on UA-cam of a 6 gen with arh downpipes
I'm sure it's out there.
This for the v6 or the 2.0t Camaro
Its in the title.
How’s the flumes on that set up with the Down pipes, like is the smell of gas bad
Does anyone know what transmission the manual is?
Do you NEEED to order the gasket and clamps or will any exhaust shop have them?

I like it but I also like the stock sound. I work third shift and I have neighbors and a hoa............
To each, its own
Do these fit 2011 RS
No
You actually have headers
Talking about the 2011 right?
For the 5th gens, 2010 and 2011 have headers
Sorry you will have to research that on your own. I don't know much about good headers for your year

Yes lol
I'll take them if u don't want them
