- A court in Pakistan has annulled the marriage of a 17 year old Christian girl. This after she was kidnapped and forced to both marry her captor and convert to Islam. The case involves Reema Saleem. She was abducted on the way home from 8th grade and later in 2019 was forced to marry a neighbor. A family court says the marriage was not done willfully. This is not an isolated case. According to UNICEF, over the next decade 100 million girls are at risk of being forced into child marriage. There also are threats for young women from religious minorities of being forced to change their religion. Director of Advocacy in Asia for ADF International, Tehmina Arora, joins to tell us about Reeha's case and the significance of this victory. Arora discusses whether Reeha's captor will face any criminal prosecution and how far forced conversion and marriage is becoming illegal in Pakistan.

Why do most judges when they come across such cases, give judgements to the underage girls, and say "go home be a good wife to your husband" while they know that the girl is 14 while the guy is in his 50s. If you think it is against your religion, then why don't you and the rest of the Muslim community come out on the roads just like they did for Imran Khan, or when they came out for the false blasphemy case in Jaraanwala.
